Absolutely appalling communication

The ballot ended midnight Monday but nothing was communicated to the fans as to when we would find out. I stayed up until 1am thinking it may in that case be immediate. Nothing

Then suddenly out of the blue I’m getting information from friends that emails are going out. I am told at around 7pm that one friend has a successful email but that they know someone who has an unsuccessful email. Check emails - nothing. No news yet but still hope. Spend the next 5 hours searching Twitter, pressing F5 on my emails and checking my Leeds account awaiting my email - nothing. At 1130 some idiot twittered “don’t go to bed yet” with news he had a ticket. Prior to that again people twittering theyve got one but nobody responding to what time they’d heard. So there was still hope. Hope for me and hope for the others who I told hang on we may still get one. Nothing

Just woke up now and first thing I done is check my emails. 1 there ........but not from Leeds. Get clarification just now that the person didn’t actually get an unsuccessful email so that’s that. 13 hours later I’ve to accept I’m not going.

A fooking farce of a club

Ps ticket office still haven’t replied to my email regarding my crowdie. I have it back as I posted but that not the point. 4-7 days for a reply and that must be 3 weeks ago now

I thought the original info was that you would only get an email if successful, might be wrong.

Just checked and you are right - they did say that but clearly escaped my attention and was caught up in the chaos. I should have checked but trusted the information I was being told obviously. Now I’m mad at myself and the club and the world and that shi11theaf who posted at 1130pm

Eating a crumb of humble pie but they should still have posted an update that they’d sent out emails etc at the time. Really wouldn’t have taken them much effort to communicate again for the retaards who can’t retain information for a week

Easily done kebab, feel guilty in some ways to fellow st holders but I never travelled to the ground to celebrate last year.
Really felt hurt I’d missed out but did the right thing because of the virus.
My opportunity to celebrate with the 3 guys who have travelled together from ull for over 25 years as st holders.

Actually thinking about it, I don’t feel guilty anymore 😂😂

You should not feel guilty.

Some fans getting tickets while others miss out in a ballot is unfair. But the whole pandemic has been unfair. Life is unfair. And only solution to unfairness is for nobody to ever have anything. Would much prefer to risk losing out if it means a chance of having something.

There will be another ballot when we qualify for Europe and make the FA cup final, different people will get lucky then.

No fair way to do it so no issues with the ballot. There are 8,000 fans more deserving of a ticket than I.
Will always be anomalies but in the main majority there will be long standing season ticket holders.
My mate however who hasn’t even watched a lot of the games this season on tv and who only got his first season ticket for 18/19 season obviously got lucky

Mate i live in cornwall on minimum wage, got little to no chance of ever seeing leeds unless my mrs springs a gravy on me, suck it up, it's a meaningless game, just a bit of release

I am genuinely pleased for all those who got a ticket. I heard from two people who sit next to me that they were notified yesterday that they had been successful. I waited all day today to see if I got an email, but nothing!
Pretty fed up now to be honest as I was hoping they were notifying people at different times!
Would have loved to be there, it will be a great atmosphere and a chance for fans to say goodbye to those players on the way out!

It’s one game Kebab and a year of this already makes it just about palatable. As you say, there are probably others much more deserving that many of us, so it’s just a shrug of the shoulders and back to the routine behind the screen of getting behind the team Bielsa puts out at Elland Road in the last day.

I’m already looking forward to August now and fingers crossed we will be edging somewhere nearer to normality.

Jealous as hell of everyone who got a ticket. Sing your hearts out for these players.

It sucks but that's the rules. I do think they could have been a bit less restrictive and had more fans in or had some at the games against Spurs - is there really a difference in the last week? They do have to set timescales and it's never perfect but it's a bit arbitrary.

Can't wait for a full house in September.

Like I’ve said no problem with ballot but can’t understand the comments about it just been one game. For starters it’s out first premier game for 16 years

It’s quite feasible that Pablo Hernandez will play the game or some part of it. To shout his name one more time would be worth the £27 match fee alone. Very jealous of those that will see him off.
Berardi and Alioski possibly the same but players not held in the same bracket as Pablo.
The worry that the club will put on something special harbours with me. The passing of 4 club legends - I can only hope that they wait for the right moment to honour them. Bringing out the championship trophy - again I can only hope the club wait to share with us all.

We all have different stories. I have worked in the face of covid for this past 15 months. For one year I lived away from my family to protect them. I’ve basically had no life for the entirety and football has been the only thing keeping me sane. One trip to elland road would have meant so much to me but it was not to be.

I think the club should announce plans to hold a day in the close season (covid permitting) where we celebrate the championship trophy and the lives of the legends together and that Pablo will be the guest of honour. It would help to take this sick feeling away I’ve had for almost 24 hours now.

No idea what you mean by springing a gravy but good luck with it and getting to elland road one day
