Reading over the posts again, this conversation isn't about a solution, its about blame and anger and hatred.
I'm out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It you make a frankly twattish comment as a solution to “avoid the bully” in the context of Palestine and Israel out is the best place for you.
Was that your only solution?
"I believe that our right to the Land is absolute and unshakable and it that [sic] includes the entire Land [...] The correct policy, from the point of view of Israeli interests regarding our political ability at the moment, is to combine the attempt to hold the maximum amount of territory and apply sovereignty over the maximum amount of territory while keeping the Arab population within it to a minimum. This situation already exists in Area C, which is under our control; there are little more than 50,000 Arabs.”

Too much death on both sides.
Nobody likes a bully, but this bully seems to get a pass from the teachers, so my advice to the target of the bully, dont throw stones at the bully, avoid the bully. Maybe move schools and get on with your life as nobody seems bothered about stopping the bully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whoever occupies land of others, however way he tries to justify this occupation, is the aggressor and the bully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Somebody said the land was Jewish originally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Historically, the region was jewish, Romans popped over, christian for a bit, then muslim.
Who owns it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No the land was originally populated by the Canaanites, who’s dependents can now be found in Lebanon.
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/canaanite-bible-ancient-dna-lebanon-genetics-archaeology
So if we’re going on who should get the land based on the first set of humans to own it, then it’s them.
Jews emigrated to what is now called Israel.
As for your original question, who owns the land? The people with the original legal deeds who are now in refugee camps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you accepting of Israel's right to exist today?
Beside a Palestine state.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the Palestinians allow it then yes.
It’s not my home so I won’t say yes or no until the Palestinians are given what’s theirs and can express their opinion.

Actually it violently offends the dignity of the Palestinians.
It isn’t a solution and you need to stop deluding yourself that it is one.
How would that have worked out under Hitler btw?
“ The majority of Israeli Zionist leftists who oppose the settlement project, however, believe in the Jewish state along 1948 borders and reject Israel's expansion into the occupied territories.”
This IMO is why there is far more focus on the actions of Israel compared to Palestine & Hamas. The minority of Zionists who back occupying Palestinian land are backed by the Israeli government, have a superior army, navy and Air Force and are backed by western governments.
By comparison the Palestinians aren’t given the same backing despite it being their land, defined by the UN resolution of 1948 & the Geneva convention.
If the Mur Man was around in 1933 he would have gone around telling everyone to avoid Hitler and his stormtroopers. Even when they came hunting for you.
Wtf, pretend you’re a tree or a wardrobe?
Actually just fack off, absolutely full of nonsense.

Erm nope, this is not a solution to being oppressed by an occupying force.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the solution?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A return of stolen land and resources to Palestine and reparations.
However... the cat is out of the bag with the citizens of Israel and the most viable option in my mind would be a single, secular state in the region. Israeli settlers and the movers and shakers of it must be brought to justice.

Let's be honest WW2 is just a narrative. Napoleon offered Palestine as a land to the Jews in 1799 and Balfour was 1917. With many a discussion a s offer in between.

So, to put this simply, if I rocked up at the house I was born in and lived in for 6 months and insisted I reacquire that house through force that would be okay?
I’d let the current occupants have the back bedroom but may change my mind on that in the intervening years, become more aggressive and bring superior weaponry and tech into the mix. Plus use the fact I am backed by a few people across my town, no matter how wrong I am.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
6 months? I think you’ll find that they were there first for a very, very long time (I know you didn’t mean 6 months literally).
The first appearance of the name "Israel" in the non-Biblical historic record is the Egyptian Merneptah Stele, circa 1200 BCE.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Israelis and jewish people have a good shout for being there.
This does not mean others do not.
Two state solution.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends which bit of the bible you focus on.
I think it's Jeremiah 31:31-32 which takes land away from the Jews iirc
“Israelis and jewish people have a good shout for being there.“
This argument falls down for me when Israel continuously fails to adhere to the UN resolution regarding land, keeps forcing people out of their homes illegally by force and then takes a seat at the UN table with the backing of western nations. All whilst, arrogantly IMO, knowing it’s breaking the resolution and Geneva convention and not appearing to give a shiite about it.
This is why criticism is levelled at Israel more than Palestine.
So effectively the Anglo Saxons could verily drum the occupying power, that of William of Normandy’s defendants out of Buckingham Palace as the land it’s built on was not theirs.
Countries are a surprisingly fluid thing. Over millennia they’ve changed rulers, religions, leaders, monarchies, boundaries & names. Mad considering we think now of a country being set in stone and unchangeable.
I don’t think you can apply a ‘we were here first’ philosophy. At the time of Israel being formed what was important was who was there at that time.
Religion is the problem, start by fixing that.

Too much death on both sides.
Nobody likes a bully, but this bully seems to get a pass from the teachers, so my advice to the target of the bully, dont throw stones at the bully, avoid the bully. Maybe move schools and get on with your life as nobody seems bothered about stopping the bully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whoever occupies land of others, however way he tries to justify this occupation, is the aggressor and the bully.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Somebody said the land was Jewish originally.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Historically, the region was jewish, Romans popped over, christian for a bit, then muslim.
Who owns it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No the land was originally populated by the Canaanites, who’s dependents can now be found in Lebanon.
https://www.nationalgeographic.com/history/article/canaanite-bible-ancient-dna-lebanon-genetics-archaeology
So if we’re going on who should get the land based on the first set of humans to own it, then it’s them.
Jews emigrated to what is now called Israel.
As for your original question, who owns the land? The people with the original legal deeds who are now in refugee camps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are you accepting of Israel's right to exist today?
Beside a Palestine state.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the Palestinians allow it then yes.
It’s not my home so I won’t say yes or no until the Palestinians are given what’s theirs and can express their opinion.
I’ll say one thing though. There isn’t a country on this beautiful planet which has a right to exist. HUMANS have a right to exist and with integrity.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enter the Martians 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If they don’t have politicians, it maybe be a better system to live under.

It you make a frankly twattish comment as a solution to “avoid the bully” in the context of Palestine and Israel out is the best place for you.
Was that your only solution?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Better than any solution iv seen you offer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then you should look around more instead of typing from ignorance.
Bye then.
“Ignore the bully” ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry it wasn't violent or hateful enough a solution.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually it violently offends the dignity of the Palestinians.

Isreal the occupier and invader, put in the saddle by the world powers that beat the naziis. Never understand how the world thought that was OK. And they did it on the back of WWII as well. As if that hadnt taught everyone a lesson.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's be honest WW2 is just a narrative.
