Rodrigo is like having a new signing. Love how the commentator said it’s game over 4-0 and Jim Beglin said “not for Leeds it isn’t”.
We have never really seen Rodrigo as a number 9much
Bit of a drab first half lit up by a cracking Klich finish. 2nd half. 2nd half was utter domination and better footballing side won.

yeah i loved that.
Some pundits saying Alioski was being childish and winding Burnley players up, strange how Dyche immediately subbed MacNeill after the foul on Alioski.
Great result Enjoy your Weekend
Meslier was magnifique. What chance of him not conceding before the end of the season?

More likely took him off because he screamed in Alioski's face which is against the covid rules.
Alioski reported by Burnley player .... they’re saying the raspberry he blew whilst acting as a 5 year old... was actually a perceived as racist monkey gesture.
Whilst some might think that laughable, the issue with things like this is not the intent of the person making the comment/gesture, it’s how it was received by the person it was aimed at.

iv'e never seen a monkey make that gesture.
plenty of five year olds though
World really has gone mad. You could see Alioski sigh when the referee informed him of this on the pitch.
O'Neill had literally just ignored covid rules and screamed in his face - spit also (not spitting) but fury spit left his mouth in alioski's direction.
It wasnt a foul. Alioski bought it. O'Neill reacted badly to it. Aliosli took the michael. Complete nothing story.

Spot on, quite a few of theirs were losing their heads and getting frustrated, Westwood lucky to not get a second yellow at one point as well
Meslier - another clean sheet, quality keeper that boy is.
Defense.
Llorente is a superstar, I was glad to see struijk start today and right now these two are our best pairing.
Alioski, apart from his shot which went for a throw in was faultless today. What more do you want if you ain't sold on him by now.
Dallas seemed a little subdued in midfield, to be fair I felt the Burnley players had clearly planned for him and you saw it everytike he shaped up for a shot, they instantly pounced on him.
Klich was class.
Raph had a quiet game
Rodrigo is now pushing to start upfront after his two goals
Today was ace.
I'm starting to get the impression that Alioski has the common sense of a five year old, although his intention may have been harmless, someone needs to have words with him about it. Agree with salonika73 that this type of incident its entirely on how the person perceives it, not what might actually be the intention behind it
Which player did Alioski apparently do that to? Burnley have an entirely white team unless I'm missing something?

I don’t know their player’s name, but he was black and very aggressive and angry towards Alioski while the latter was on the floor.
When I saw a replay of Alioski’s face pulling after the incident I thought “childish” rather than “oh god, he’s making racist gestures”.
Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the authorities take the opposite viewpoint because when someone shouts “witch” everyone else has to go get kindling or they too get accused.
I’m all for stamping out racism, but I hope someone takes into account the fact that Alioski is petulant, playful and childish at times before they burn him.
Alioski has been great for us. He's sharp, he attacks, crosses well, is constantly a pain in the ass, he's got a very sweet volley on him...but he's also a diver and a faker and I'd rather not see that sort of thing from one of ours. I hope he stays but am sure he's moving on. We can do better. It's a shame because he's become a great attacking LB for us under Bielsa.

Dwight McNeil is mixed race, black dad and white mum I think.
You are right though, Burnley, like a lot of British towns is very multi-cultural, yet they have one black first team player and he is mixed race. I have to wonder why that is and whether there is a culture of institutional racism at the club. It could just be coincidence like it is a coincidence that Crystal Palace are a predominantly black team but managers in business tend to recruit people who look like them and that is one reason why there is a glass ceiling for black people. It is not beyond the possibility that this might happen at a football team.
So in my view McNeil needs to ask himself, why in a country where 3% of the population are black am I the only black person here, do I play for a club that is intuitionally racist before he starts accusing Alioski of making racist gestures.
It is alleged that McNeil spat at Alioski and maybe that is what provoked the reaction. But Alioski should have learnt how to deal with these situations appropriately, especially given what happened to Kiko.
The club maybe needs to do some work with players, especially those who come from a less multi-cultural background. Lets face it North Macedonia are light years behind us in these matters.
That said, if the FA do uphold the allegation of racist gestures, he will face a ban, probably the first few matches of next season, it will not be our problem.
There's footage of McNeill spitting close to Alioski's face while he's on the ground:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-9582057/Video-footage-appears-Dwight-McNeil-spitting-Ezgjan-Alioski.html
A more mature response from our player would have been sensible, but mature & Alioski tend not to go together.
If Alioski's face-pulling antics are deemed racist, the All Blacks are in for a big legal fight after their next Haka!
Alioski played brilliantly yesterday and his stats show that he has been one of our most consistent performers this season. Posters are quick to point to his weaknesses, while ignoring the pace and guile he brings on the left side. I am all for getting a dedicated left back, but letting Alioski go because of contract issues is daft.
Got to admit, I didn't know Dwight McNeil was mixed race. It's not obvious, would Alioksi have even known?
Just mindboggling that the gesture could be considered racist. He did it to one of the Burnley coaches after. Maybe something more is alleged that Alioski has done but if it's just the face, it's ridiculous.
Equally strange that this is seen as a monkey gesture, when actually it's almost identical to the British Sign Language form for ....
.... a donkey. So, not sure how it's seen as racist then.
Don't suppose the FA will be bothered by that, of course....
If the Ref saw it as a racist gesture he should have red carded him straight away.
It's Leeds. It's racist. It's another 200K for Bielsa to fork out. There go the prizes in the Christmas raffle.
