Let’s face it, all the other clubs should be grateful to Man City if they don’t want to buy Kane. I couldn’t see anyone winning anything for the next 3 years at least if they did.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, how generous of City for not using their billion pound expenditure in the last few years on Kane, so that they're only limited to winning 95 per cent of everything. They're real sports.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With the amount of money their owners have I’m surprised the rest have a 5% chance

Hardly surprising news if we're honest. He's just started seeing Leicester win trophies now while Spurs continue to fail in that department. Of course he's going to want to leave.

Maybe there'll be an attempted swap deal since his value will be so high?

Martial going the other way?

That would increase the price tag as well

Levy will pretty much sign his own death warrant if he sells to a PL rival.

He can meet up with Poch at PSG, win a few titles, and then come back to Spurs to beat Shearer's record.

Kane returns to his boyhood club.

Arsenal.

Why should we be grateful? For all we know he could be like Torres or Shevchenko at Chelsea.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Torres!! Chelsea paid Liverpool £50m to make themselves weaker and Liverpool stronger.

I bet United would try that.

Didn't we get Frazier Campbell off you the last time we gave you one of our star players?

This scenario looks likely.

Kane is a huge player for us though and a current legend. He would get unavoidable backlash for it and he must know it.

You’ve gotta love the gallows humour of Spurs fans.

No chance of Kane being like Torres or Shevchenko at Chelsea. The guy's at the top of his game. Torres was off the boil at Liverpool before going to Chelsea. Shevchenko past his best too.

i think spurs are stuck with kane till he retires.
i would love to see him go to city because he wouldn't help them in the least. there would be too many big games for him not to perform in.

The Glazers must be thinking this will take some heat off them if they signed him. They could use some of those dividends..

...........In a statement regarding the developments, Tottenham have said:

“We have a season to finish and we want to finish it as strongly as possible."

“That’s all everyone should be focusing on.”

He won’t be sold to Spurs’ rival. Don’t think Leeds or Aston Villa can afford him either

United seem the most likely to throw the big money at him. Plus we'll now hear the Sky pundits mention it at every available opportunity, especially with United performing poorly right now.
