I know Spurs are pretty bad right now but we're not a championship side...yet
Tbf though good point, would be great experience for Leeds and a step in the right direction for them.
There are a few around the Spurs board that if we ended on the same points they'd take it as a kick in the sack!..
We're not meant to be good enough to be where we are and one in particular pointed out we had no chance on catching them, but hey, that one might be right, we might not end up above them, but the same points would be just as good!.

The europa conference is designed to help smaller nations so the big countries only get one slot.
1-4 this year will gwt champions league
5-6 will get europa league
And 7 will get conference.
We arnt getting into Europe this year as we will never be able to overhaul spurs goal difference.
However its very possible that spurs will finish outside of Europe completely.
Also, the winner of the conference gets into the europa league for the next season.
And that would very much be worth it as qualifying for that is hard enough in this league
Whilst it is always better to finish as high up the league as possible, can see very little value in qualifying for the Europa League and lots of downsides to it, not the least the number of games you'd need to play.
To try to qualify for a league below one of the most pointless club competitions there has ever been seems a ridiculous ambition to me.
Very little status and I am sure most clubs taking part will lose money.
A bit of a poisoned chalice for the team in seventh place.

no need to rush into it. i think we're good enough for top 6 next year and ready to storm the europas the year after.
We won’t get 7th so are safe from Europe thank goodness.
I think Arsenal will win and so too will Leicester.
I actually think Brighton will beat Arsenal and that will mean Spurs scraping into the Europa Conference which will hamper their league form disastrously coupled with Kane's departure will result in Spurs relegation next season. Leeds will finish 8th and next season top 4.
All told, a decent first season back in the Prem. Been involved in some of the most entertaining games of the season too.
Just gotta watch for second season syndrome, look what happened to Sheffield United!
Second season syndrome is a myth.
Second Season Syndrome - Bores me to tears hearing this.
Without the exact stats this is usually down to a) lack of signings b) lack of investment to sign c) investment not well spent.
We spent circa £100M and got Rapha, Rodrigo, Koch and Llorente - all top class on their day and looking better and better as time goes on.
I will be astonished if we don't add at least 2 possibly 3 top class signings in the summer which will just strengthen this team.
Radz is on a mission and has been a fast learner.
Finally the Manager and once Championship players that have really cut the mustard - Dallas, Phillips, Ayling need I go on - No I rest my case.
Any team/club that does things right usually go a bit further!..
Our owner since taking over has got a lot wrong, but its his first attempt at football, since Bielsa came to the crease the club has become a fully functioning footballing club again, the way things were before AR and Co this club had no chance!..
As Rev says only brought 4 players in after last season, 4 great players that some single players in the top teams cost more than all together, so, knowing Bielsa will be with us next season we can rely on players that Bielsa wants to come in!..
3 or 4 new Raffa's will do nicely thankyou!..
We'll spend another 100m this year and keep our best players, improve staff and coaches too, Bielsa will not stay otherwise.
Next season I fully expect us to push on and get a Euro place. I said at the beginning of this season isn't beyond the realms of possibility we did this season and we nearly have made a Euro place!
wow stoops go all out, don't sit on the fence aye
Had we had Lorente fit all season it is not being ridiculously bias to say we would have got ar least another nine points just by turning some narrow defeats into draws and that would have got us very close to top 4 which next season will definitely be achievable.
put a tenner on us to win the facup next season

Is it me or do Spurs get more than their share of stick on here (and other message boards)? I must admit, I've slated them a fair bit over the past couple of seasons but for what I believe is the right reason. I actually like Spurs (there, I said it!). It's just frustrating seeing how, season after season, they capitulate to Arsenal and Chelsea – teams that aren't, on paper, any better. Having duff managers like Mourinho doesn't help but nevertheless, they fall away almost every time – so frustrating. Pull your socks up lads - you've got one more to contend with next season.

Paddy, you missed Paddy.
With the exception of Arsenal and Everton, every team in the league have spent time outside the top tier in all of our lifetimes, it therefore isn't inevitable that once promoted teams will return from thence they came in a season or two.
Assuming we finish in tenth place, there are seven teams below us that will not be relegated this year, who, unless they strengthen significantly, will start next season looking over their shoulders.
Additionally Norwich, Watford and one of the other four will need to make a better of fist of things than they did previously to leapfrog us.
No team has adapted as well as we did this season, I expect Bielsa and his team to continue to adapt next season.

We will end up 9th.
