best of luck
I am sure it will be that we can let you leave if someone meets my valuation. But as his valuation will be so high, no one will meet it so he has to stay. Only way Kane gets out is someone breaking the bank or him running down his deal
But... what if the deal was "one more season" and we'll honour that wish, assuming a deal is in place? Everyone is working on the assumption that the recent revelations are news to the club as well as the fans. I wouldn't mind betting Levy had this convo with Kane last year and we've since been touting him around to potential buyers.
Just listened to a glimpse of what Kane had said and theres nothing suggesting hes desperate to go now really.
hes just wanting more clarity around the club and why wouldnt he enquire about leaving this mess.
I think your get at least another season out of him maybe more.
Depending on the signings and how well you progress, this could lead to a change of heart.
Just don't sell him to city
A lot depends on Haaland. If he moves this summer to one of the big boys then the rest are going to be panicked into paying top dollar for Kane as he's the last great centre forward left. If Haaland waits until next year to go on a free then everyone might wait for him instead of going for Kane. It could give us an extra year. Maybe.

Sorry mate....most Spurs fans (well the ones I know) will only accept Harry going to city if he is to be sold (inside the prem)
Anywhere else wouldn’t match the reasons for leaving
He may as well stay at tottenham
There is an article from a United fan and quite a few of them think he will complete them and they would win the title
Ifs buts and maybes
Harry wants to join an already completed squad not complete one (that’s just my opinion going on what he has said)
City are the only premiership team that guarantees winner medals ....the other big clubs will come close or maybe pick 1 up but it’s not a guarantee
City will win something every season

City is the best choice for Kane.
He'll stay in England, be with the best club in the land, will get tons of chances from both wings to score hatricks galore, will be coached by arguable one of the best in the best after being coached by Jose and Poch, and he will get lots of money
What is there not to like?
And oh yes, almost every year, he'll be parading in the open top bus his empteenth PL title
I think the honesty part of the discussion will be Kane wanting to know whether next season will be the start of a new project or whether the club are going to invest to elevate us to competing at the top end.
He will want to know if the management appointment and the transfer budget will make us serious contenders for things or whether it will be another project where challenging for serious trophies will be years away if at all.

I think there's a weird assumption that if he moves to City he'll hit higher numbers in terms of goals. I'm not so sure. Foden, Sterling Mahrez and B Silva tend to cut inside and create goals for themselves rather than being dedicated suppliers. I can see him scoring a load from De Bruyne's vision but his position as main man at Spurs means in the last third everyone is looking for him. That won't be the case at City. I don't think his numbers will be much different than they already are, which is still extraordinary.
Does anyone think if we offered him a new 5-6 year contract at 350-400k he would sign?
If he doesn’t sign that then sell him now
No point waiting another season as he will depreciate after this summer
As much as I love Kane (best player I’ve seen for us since 91) there is no point keeping someone who’s heart isn’t in it
He will be back to finish his career with us when he is 31/32

I doubt it. He has all the money he'll ever need. Some players, yes. Not Kane. There's only one thing he's starved of - trophies. I don't think he's signing any new contract unless he sticks around for one more year and we have a monumental first season under the new manager and win a couple of cups.

To be fair Kane should realise that the country is coming out of a Pandemic and clubs are as short of money as any other business. He cannot seriously expect Spurs to splash the cash, when they have had no income, other than TV money for near on 18 months. He has to be realistic.

I wish Kane well, whatever happens, but it grates me how lots of fans seem more concerned about him, than the club. Kane for me now seems more interested in personal aims, than actually being a team player. His latest quote is he wants to be as good as Messi and Ronaldo, which shows he really doesn`t care much about the club anymore.
Spurs as a club will always come first for me before any players.
It'll be an interesting play for Levy. He obviously knows he's not in a lot of fans' good books and selling Kane in his mind would just make him more unpopular. In which case he might just price out Kane from any move.
Would you take Messi or Ronaldo as a replacement for Kane Sandy? There ` s still a good couple of years left in both of them.

He does seem more about personal gain now than tottenham as a club
But in his mind he probably thinks what more can he do
And it’s a short career though....I guess personal gain has to come in somewhere

Definitely agree Sandy
Spurs are more important to me
Not that I won’t be very disappointed when he leaves as I think he is world class and these players don’t come round for us much
But I want what’s best for Spurs not Harry Kane
The bloke deserves some silverware though

I think the honesty part of the discussion will be Kane wanting to know whether next season will be the start of a new project or whether the club are going to invest to elevate us to competing at the top end.
He will want to know if the management appointment and the transfer budget will make us serious contenders for things or whether it will be another project where challenging for serious trophies will be years away if at all.

To be fair Kane should realise that the country is coming out of a Pandemic and clubs are as short of money as any other business. He cannot seriously expect Spurs to splash the cash, when they have had no income, other than TV money for near on 18 months. He has to be realistic.

I think your get at least another season out of him maybe more.
Depending on the signings and how well you progress, this could lead to a change of heart.
Just don't sell him to city
----------------------------------------------------------------------
City is the best choice for Kane.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You make it sound like you’re happy about this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeh amuses me how lots of our fans are more interested in Harry Kane having a great career, than what actually happens at the club they say they support. The club are the only thing I am interested in, not Harry Kane being kept happy.

Definitely agree Sandy

Again agreed
He does seem more about personal gain now than tottenham as a club
But in his mind he probably thinks what more can he do
And it’s a short career though....I guess personal gain has to come in somewhere
