It is the way things are these days, entitled players and greedy agents who hold most of the power. Gone are the days when clubs had the power and players did what their employers told them to. A sad state of affairs.
Love it how the narrative is changing from thanks Kane we wish you well to Kane is a caaant fack off out of my club
You ever moved jobs before your company wanted you out?
I have no emotional attachment to individual players, I'd like Kane to stay for the sake of Tottenham, but if he leaves (for anyone other than Arsenal) then good luck to him.
My hope is that is that if he leaves we invest well in players, and challenge/succeed as a club.
When I see Walker play I know we were a better side with him in it, but I don't sit here angry at him!
If my company had done all it could for me and that's as far as I got in my career, I'd consider leaving too, no animosity, just a job. I'd look back fondly at that job, be thankful for the opportunities it gave me, wouldn't rule out returning one day. But if I need to leave for my ambitions, off I go.
You entitled Spurs fans make me furrrking sick
It works both ways. You were all crying for Mourinho to leave before the end of his contract instead of letting him honour it and have a chance to win silverware

Why on earth do fans complain about the money players make, and their urge to make more?
Ultimately its the fans who pay the players!
And thus, the fans are making the "problem" they complain about.
You don't like players wanting 300,000 GBP/week?
The answer is in your own hands.....don't pay to watch football!
And if you can't do that....blame yourselves every time you complain about the player's salaries!

Yeah in this case the wages are irrelevant anyway. He could have earned more elsewhere when he signed his current deal, for one thing. He wants to leave for purely footballing reasons, will probably go to City and win trophies galore. He'll earn more but that will just be a bonus

Look at the way another club legend, Hazard, left Chelsea, and note the different styles of reaction.
It says a lot about the two differing set of fans.
Wahl on Mourinho being wanted out by comparison spot on to reveal more hypocrisy.

Well it clearly is not the fans that pay the wages. Fans have hardly been through the turnstiles for 18 months, yet the players are still getting their mega wages. Ted ever thought it just may be the TV companies paying most of the wages?

Sandy...if only you could THINK!
What a difference it would make to your posts!
Yes the Pandemic disrupted the usual business whereby fans pay in half-a-dozen different ways...not just at the turnstiles, but at their TVs as well.
The players are still getting mega wages because of their contracts....which would never have been signed by the clubs but for the expectations that the fans would pay up as usual!
TV companies don't pay wages....fans that pay to watch TV give their money to the TV companies that then get paid again by advertisers in expectation of a fan audience to advertise to; those TV companies then pay clubs for the space to attract advertisers with the money that the fans pay to watch!
Got it now ....maybe...have you?
Bottom line ...the money that drives the whole business from top to bottom, comes from.........
Guess...can you Sandy?
