It's only his second appearance for the senior team, long way to go before we know how good he is.

Cracking header though

All a bit flat so far but no surprise I guess

That may have been Silvas best header of the season

Great header that. We are a mess

An even bigger mess awaits the club next season. It could be as disjointed a shambles as it was under Zenga - only in a far tougher league.

Whoever comes in had better be a battler along the lines of Bruce or Big Sam because the transition of losing half this side, juggling incoming players unlikely to have been chosen by the new incumbent, undoing the malaise in the squad - all in front of a crowd in mourning - will require a character of steel.

In many ways it will be a similar task to the one facing the stream of managers who tried and failed to step into Fergie's shoes.

Not sure this starting eleven will score all day

Can't understand why we've become so static when trying to defend crosses. I think it's probably the case that with Doherty and Jonny in the side we conceded considerably fewer balls in the box from wide, all the same you want your defenders to be in a position to attack those balls or for the keeper to claim them.

Every player was so well drilled that the absence of Jonny and Doc has thrown everybody out. Cluelessness in the defence has been present all season long.

Don't buy it. I don't think there is any danger of us facing relegation unless Fosun do nothing in the market. And I don't see how half the squad will suddenly leave in one summer either, it just doesn't work that way.

Not half the squad, but half the usual first team.

Patricio
Neves
Traore
Donk
Neto (might get another year)
Moutinho
Saiss
Coady (might be kept for continuity)

Enjoy watching Traore at times but if he is one who does leave this summer I won't be that disappointed, just doesn't do anywhere near enough throughout the game

Losing Raul, Jonny, Jota and Doc absolutely tore us apart. Two of those were by choice by a manager who must surely have known better but was at the mercy of Mendes and Fosun.

I think there's been tension at the club for the best part of a year. I am not at all convinced that Nuno wasn't sacked.

These United children are all playing for a place in the Europa final. Wolves are just Wolves.

Final nail I think was spunking 65 million + on Semedo and Silva.

Fans have given up it sounds like. That is what this type of football does.

Wolves fans booing the lazy dollop from Brazil. What an absolute shambles of a choice it was to bring him in.

Semedo is more a singer than a defender. Where on earth was the due diligence?

Silva, I have hope for but was never going to be ready this season or maybe even next.

Again, a beautiful example of Silva's awareness and touch.

Good stuff from Silva, doing alright today. Driving forward with pace, bodies in the box, who knew

Let's give this another shot.

What were the club thinking bring in Willian Jose and Ait-Nouri?

posted on 23/5/21

Hell of a scar on Telles head, Raul will have one similar I guess
