Yes, taking two uncapped CBs who have never played together before and starting them in the Euros seems a great plan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When will they get that experience dude?
You laugh but that's why England never wins anything...No balls to take on young and hungry players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Friendlies and qualifiers.
If you are taking Sancho, Foden, Saka, Bellingham, Greenwood etc, then I don't think you can say you aren't taking youngsters!
Plus White and Godfrey aren't great players.

Edin, the only way I see Southgate not playing both is with a back 3 (even then he will still play them)
The wide roles are up for debate (All 4) but again Southgate seems to stick with what he has had before.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I meant more that I think it will be Kalvin Phillips and Rice or Henderson (currently it should be Rice). Need a passing DM and a ball carrying/hard running midfielder beside him

They aren't yet but I'd take them because they have the promise of becoming great, and would give them experience now, so going forward I have two CBs that would have a relationship built in a major tournament, and will gain more nounce going forward.
Thinking ahead me, I don;t think England have any chance of winning this one, so why not build the next gen team?
Squad:
Henderson
Pickford
Pope
Shaw
Chillwell
Trent Alexander
James
Saka
Walker
Hudson-Odoi
White
Stones
Bellingham
Foden
Grealish
Mount
Rice
Phillips
Sancho
Sterling
Maddison
Abraham
Greenwood
Watkins
Rashford
Kane
Left-out most of the crocked players. If Ings or Wilson weren't injury prone they'd be in the squad.
Pope
James Stones Tomori
Hudson-Odoi Rice Mount Chilwell
Foden Sancho
Kane

======
This is one of the best chances England have had for a while. Half the competition with home advantage.
Pickford
TAA Stones Maguire Shaw
Rice Phillips
