Someone needs to get the Cheque book out because we have nothing on the bench.

Yes slight difference in the quality of the subs methinks

Defence was the problem today. Losing Fofana and Evans was too far for us.

Pants.

Slight?

Still a brilliant Season Lads

Chelsea had thrown it away and we do that. You just can’t believe it.

Thank you Villa but we go defensive at 65 mins.... How did that work?

At least we won't have to have Kane scoring against us for Spurs next season

Injuries this season.
Ndidi
Vardy
Maddison
Barnes
Justin
Evans
Ricardo
Castagna
Fofana today
And still finished fifth and won a major trophy.
I'll drink to that.

And Under

Lack of defensive cover definitely cost us today probably the season,
Hard to pull the positives out of it

But europa league FOOTBALL and the
FA, CUP
Got to be our best season since we won the league

It's the second best season ever for the club, let alone since we won the League.

I’m struggling to be anything but very frustrated after that. Sorry.

And another upside
We won't associated with every Tom, Denis and his mother looking for champions league football at stupid prices 🤣

It is frustrating but in the end the table doesn't lie, we simply did not have enough quality back up to cope with the injuries we've suffered

Strange isn't it
After everything's gone our way with villa
To lose today hurts,
And sort of takes the gloss off a good season

We’ll reflect on it as a great season in future Dubs, it is.

But the way we lost today hurts. It was in our hands, Chelsea had messed up, all we had to do was manage the game. We didn’t and it hurts.

It shouldn’t hurt, but it hurts.

Sense of entitlement coming through? Remember losing away at Doncaster and Gillingham? Remember those play off finals and not caring about what happened the following season, all we wanted to do was get promoted.

We've won the FA ruddy Cup for the first time in our history and we've qualified for Europe for the second season running. And some of us are disappointed.

I’m disappointed the way that game went STS.

No entitlement - just annoyed we couldn’t take the opportunity we had.

It’s the second greatest season ever, but it’s a frustrating day.

Not keen on the new kit - we look like Ipswich - played like at times as well!!

Champions League would have been the icing on top of the cherry on top of the creme fresh on top of the cake.

Of course we all wanted it and had it in our grasp but we didn't get it. Ce la vie.

I'll settle for what we did get and I'll say thank you very much.

Cheers.

It's been a great season, no doubt about that. It doesn't stop the frustration to be so close to top 4 for the second season running, and it's not as if we were miles off it and managed to luckily sneak close at the end, we've been there or thereabouts for most of the last two years - apart from the two days it really counts!

Well they cannot deny the bottlers tag from now on

You were in the top four and third for a long time...to lose that advantage....actually tailing of since the FA win has to be called what it is...bottling it! And losing to the champions bottlers as well.
I am fully aware we were wannabe bottlers too but the dear much beloved (for today) spuddies saved our asses.

Shame we couldn't see it through. Injury to Fofana seriously disruptive. But when all said and done, another excellent season. We'd have taken 5th and FA Cup winners when it all began. And as others have said, we lacked real quality back up to cover for injuries, which I'm sure will be rectified for next season.
Thanks Dubs for all your efforts all season..
