With Nat emergence we don't need another CB. Konate should be sufficient.
Could do with a backup to Trent
1 midfielder
1 wide forward
1 number 9
Remember Mane and Salah will be at Afcon next season
We wont be buying 2 cbs dont think but I fully expect Konate to come in. We're not signing Kabak I don't think.
I think one midfielder to replace Gini.
Plus a forward.
You're puts look about right. Not really anyone good enough to promote from the youth teams atm.
Wilson and Minamino also going.
Taiwo Awoniyi has now got a work permit, absolutely no idea if we'll use him.
Personally I'd bring Elliot into the squad.
Sounds like it is one CB only from what the journos are saying, and Klopp wants it to be Konate.
Payment structure is supposedly the only thing holding it up but with the additional £60m and more from today should allow us to be more flexible now.
We absolutely need Konate. He has the right attributes like pace, height, and power for our high line. Williams needs a loan to a championship club to get physically stronger.
Konate £30m
Tielemans £70m
Daka £30m
Going to have to shift quite a lot of deadwood but the above is possible i think.
I think we might be low balling on Kabak. Hopefully get him for around 12m. We'd definitely make our money back in the future imo
Why pay 18 when they'll probably accept less now the demand is no longer there
I like him tbh and Gomez is made of glass and who knows how long Virgil will take to get up to speed obviously with no new setbacks which is quite common when rehabilitation is taking place.
Matip is odd one out but in all likelyhood he'll see out his contract. Again he cant be relied on either. We've been fortunate with Phillips and Williams is pants
Im not that keen on Tielemans
Definitely wouldn't pay 70m for him

Like all those too Neo. Be a good summer if we can get those over the line and if City sign Haaland or Kane we'll probably have to in order to compete.
Is tielemans good enough for us?
Easily. He’s been world class this season and is getting better every year. Still young too, only just turned 24.

I think so.
4 for me. We need someone who i capable of giving both trent and robbo a rest from time to time. Jury out on tsmikas and neco williams clearly isnt trusted to fill im for trent.
We need a centre half
We need a midfield option with gini gone, milner another year older and I suspect 1 of keita or ox will he sold. Cant keep carrying both of them every year.
We could do with a better option up top.
Names for me would be konate. I like max aarons at norwich. Would be some genuine competition for trent and the lad can, if need be fill in at lb to give robbo a breather from time to time. Midfield I'll say bissouma because if im being honest I dont really know who would be a good one in there.
Up top, bit of an out the box one but id see if suarez could be tempted back for a final swansong. Money will be tight this year, he has an option with atletico for another year so he could be picked up on a free. Hes not vintage suarez but hes still got some class about him and hes a far better option than origi to have.
4 signings, 3 for the long term, 1 for the here and now and for me wed be good to go and have a right crack at the big prizes again.
Wouldn’t surprise me if we went to 5 at the back next season. We need to be a bit less predictable in our play and would give our 2 most creative players even more license to get forward (TAA and Robbo).
Then hopefully get Konate in with VVD and Gomez back after a full pre season. Thiago and Fabinho look to have struck up a fantastic understanding in the middle and then hopefully we can bring in Bissouma and have Hendo to rotate.
Then a front 3 with rotation of Salah, Mane, Firmino, Jota and a another signing to give competition. Something like this;
———————————Alisson——————————
———-Gomez————Konate——————VVD——
—Trent————Fabinho—————Thiago——-Robbo
——Salah—————Jota/Firmino————Mane/New signing
Might be unrealistic but looks exciting.
