Win or lose this is such an anticlimax from us.

It's Villareal ffs and we've been playing for pens for most of the game. This is on Ole and his lack of risks, too risk averse, afraid to gamble.

Let’s be fair Villarreal parked the bus for 90 mins.

I knew we had to take it to them when it went to 1-1 and we had that short period and then we stopped creating. We can have no complaints if we lose. Kept De Gea instead of Henderson for penalties as well. Took off our great strikers of the ball.

"Manchester United have lost five of their last six penalty shootouts. They won their last though - against Rochdale in the League Cup in September 2019."
