He's played all but one CL game all CC and a few PL games he's been very good when played he's better than Mikel that's for sure.

AVB himself has said he's been excellent the only reason he'd be limiting his time is because of age and why need experience in a difficult time or because he doesn't want Barca coming back for him.

He's a very good player if have him in my starting 11 fr definite

what is the buy back clause?

Chelsea only accepted cause Barca have added clause that means if we pay an extra 10m the buy back is removed. 18m for a top DM is a bargain in today's world, if he doesn't do that well Barca buy him back we make a profit and had back up whilst Essien was out. If he completely fails which is massively unlikely based on his first months he didn't cost much anyway

AVB won't get sacked id imagine with him being young Abromovic will give him time to build his own squad. I hope so anyway if he sacks him without giving him time it will be pretty embarrassing for the club

He cost Chelsea 8m. Barca can buy back for 12m in summer or 15m summer after at any point in a transfer window in those two years Chelsea can pay an extra 10m I think it was to cancel the buy back. They put it in all their youngsters transfers since Fabregas and tbh so have Chelsea lol we have buy back on Sergio Tajera. They are unlikely to use it as they have some many midfielders young and old and if he's a starter at Chelsea and happy he might say no anyway.

I hope he stays, if not we are covered in DM in our youth squad anyway

Mourinho who got 3 years thats about it. Ranieri he didn't want in the first place, Grant and Hiddink were interim managers, Scolari was stupid making players train in reserves we were 10th when he got sacked in January. Ancelotti was never willing to drop under performing players he was too stubborn to change thins.

Apart from Mourinho not sure you can argue with them tbh. I'd have liked Ancelotti to have stayed but he was Naive at Chelsea and Milan

Yes I know but that was a squad with Lampard, Drogba Anelka Malouda Cole at their best. We were the best of a bad bunch tbf.

The second season was a shambles, no matter how badly Lampard Malouda Anelka Drogba played he wouldn't drop them he'd keep them under performing there was no competition for places in the squad because the starting 11 was already confirmed. Tactically hed never change either. He was a great guy and a good first season but I think Abromovic realizes the need for new younger players to be used and Ancelotti wasn't going to do that just look at his Milan team the youngest player to play regularly was Ramires. Apart from that Kakuta got a run of games but as soon as Anelka returned he was dropped despite playing well.

Id have liked him to stay but at the end of the day AVB has shown a willingness to change his style and drop players, I'm happy he's here

Mourinho id have kept. Ancelotti maybe but he was going to send Sturridge out on loan again and keep the same under performing wingers playing! Scolari would have eventually got us relegated lol

The main decision I'd massively disagree with was Wilkins sacking. He was the inspiration in the dressing room and very clever with defensive tactics we could do with him now, AVB and Di Matteo both just want to attack.

If he gives AVB time he'll build a very good chelsea team. No doubt about that

Handing this weeks tactics in today as i'm off away from Lunchtime today til Monday evening

Loads of rumours about Kaka to Chelsea today would be great signing the way he's playing ATM but this always comes around at some point lol. He'd bridge the gap between Lampard and Mceachran development wise too so if he's cheap I'd be for it definitely
