Luiz could have been sent off, but he was last man through no fault of his own, lampard just lets the newcastle midfielder pick his pass, Terry isnt covering Luiz either lets him run and score or brings him down, he brought him down and we didnt suffer because of it. A part from that he was solid and built some good attacks for deep.

Alex was good first game but since then hes made a lot of mistakes v leverkusen, liverpool and others. Agree hes a good defender but hes been no better than Luiz hes been worse tbh hence why Luiz is starting. Shame to see him go but he wants to be first choice and it will free up space for a young defender who can replace Terry next season but not halt the development of Kalas, maybe Godin/Cahill

As for anelka been very good for us but recently very inconsistent and better to let him go in jan so we can get a good young player in straight away than wait till summer.

how isnt larrson close - free transfer scored all but 2 goals for sunderland so far and set up 2/3 (not sure different sites say different stuff) he is a class signing so far and signing of the season is best value for money so plsyers like mata and aguaro cant come close
