Soldado in great form but do is Demba Ba and we kept him quiet at the weeked. Drogba on his day a problem for anyone his goal v Newcastle was very good, had to generate all his own power and beat a massively in form keeper

Personally though key battles are

Soldado v Terry
Alba v Ivanovic
Matthieu v Sturridge
LB v Mata

And I think we can win them if we play well

We'll see tbh I don't think we'll do enough but I hope we do. Just think had Kalou not punched a cross away we'd already be through

Plus I don't think Torres starting would mean we lose lol

He's been our best player in the CL, scored/assisted or been involved in every goal we've got except Leverkusen a few weeks ago when Drogba played cause Torres was ill

Rami and Ruiz were completely outplayed by him too at Valencia only Diego Alves stopped him getting 3 goals with some wonder saves. He's actually been something near his best in the CL

Obviously he's better lol but Ba is playing just aswell now he's scoring virtually every goal for a team 5th in the PL

And there's no guarantee Soldado will score lol the same players have kept Messi out they can keep Soldado out lol
