I might put a bet on them beating Man City this Monday, they seem to be doing alright at the moment...
Last night the tactics were very good from AvB to drop deeper and let them have the possession but give them no spaces. Thought the defence and midfield were excellent in that. Then the counters with Ramires Sturridge Mata and Drogba were fantastic
However don't think it will work against City can't give them as much of the ball no Luiz which is a shame cause he was very good last night so I reckon team will be

Not 100% sure of defence, Luiz suspended and Bosingwa might not be fit. Could drop Romeu to Cb but would be a waste

he kind of was lol even the commentators were sayying how easilly kakuta got the better of him
and yes i still think he should be sold in summer. He'll be 34/35 by then? Hes been a brilliant player for us but if we dont start to revamp the squad it will never happen. I think Torres has had a better season than him up until the Newcastle game where Drogba has come alive. Torres has been a bit unlucky this year he got his run of games and was scoring or assisting in everyone of them by the game after Leverkusen then he got sent of vs Swansea and was restricted to CL so was playing every 2 weeks, Drogba got his run of games and although wasnt great by the time Torres was back for PL we were playing really badly and needed someone to hold the ball up upfront so Drogba kept playing and now hes doing well. I think if Torres gets a run of games after the City game he'll start to score again hes looked good when he came on vs wolves and newcastle so still think he should be first choice in general as he's going to be here longer than Drogba no point keeping him on the bench.
We have Lukaku who shown a lot of promise too and i think next year he'll need to be getting regular games for us so selling Drogba would help.
For this season though Drogba has to stay, help the team in tough situations like last night, rotate with Torres and help the younger strikers like Lukaku.
for me though our best team atm is

which is what id start vs city but with Drogba over Torres, we'll need him the same way we used him last night

he's shown a lot of potential when played, strong, very quick, good on the ball hes definitly impressed hes improved each game too, only ones he hasnt really impressed in were sub apps vs arsenal and united in the league but he was out on the right for them so completley out of position for two very big games both times when we were losing, it shows how highly AVB rates him though to bring him on over the likes of malouda, kalou, anelka
Think he has to work on his end product mainly crossing and sometimes he seems a bit hesitant to shoot but hes 18 so normal for him when hes playing for the club he supports i guess
Hes got mssive potential from what weve seen of him this year very happy we got him

probably thinking thank god hes scored now ill take it from here lol
then he came on and had a shot cleared off the line
