Otherwise we’d all have to sell off any player from our clubs academy that’s out on loan.

Also didn’t think there was an issue with having more than 5 hg youth

If I put Martinelli in my first team squad he becomes an U21 not a HG. He plays for an English club before the age of 21 so he can go into my HG academy.

if a youth player is at a club within our league he is counted as HG, if he is foreign he will be counted as HG until he moves to the main squad, then he would count as U21 until his 3 years are up

Should I move Saliba to my HG academy then? Just about sorted out my squad and moving him there will give me another headache

and nadz id expect you to at least try and get your squad within limits

FWIW I'd rather Saliba be a foreign youth personally.

Academies = Each team is permitted two academies, one Homegrown, which consists of any player signed to the academy of an English or Welsh club, and the other a Foreign Academy, consisting of players of 19 years or younger on the 1st August 2019 from teams outside of England/Wales, and with 5 or less competitive international caps as of the 1st August 2019. Both academies have a maximum number of 5.
- Anyone whose squad is not within limits on the day of injuries being given will be given an extra injury for each player over or an injury for each foreign too many or each HG too little. This includes having extra academy/loan players.
