Living the dream Ludes
Wild - didn’t expect that at all
Is that his decision?
Mental
Sounds as though it was his decision judging by his interview - running out of energy.
Gotta be Xabi Alonso in next!
Is it a coincidence Bayern look like not winning league…
Who the feck could replace him - likely to fail whoever they are
Alonso a great shout actually
I was hoping he’d spend 20 years with us!

Klopp
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I read it here before I looked on BBC Sport, and from the reactions I'd assumed he quit on the spot!
Xabi Alonso should walk into it if he wants it, but Steven Gerrard will still want it
Imagine Bayern will be straight on the phone to Klopp but not sure if he'll be looking to take a break. If so then imagine it'll be a straight shootout between us and Bayern for Alonso.
If we don't get Xabi then imagine we'll promote Pep Lijnders, can't really see another other viable candidates

Poor Steven. He actually did a great job for us, then left to ‘be closer to home’ taking Villa job, obv was a step towards Pool job if he did do well

Lijnders is leaving too from what I've read
🚨 Jurgen Klopp: “I told the club already in November that I’m leaving at the end of the season”.
“I’m running out of energy, that’s the truth”.
“I love absolutely everything about this club and #LFC but I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again”.
How do you run out of energy, fergie did it for 26 years. Arsene too
Is more competitive now than it was for some of that time, although was Fergie that pushed United above the rest
More social media etc, although press were possibly worse going by the Beckham documentary
I mean Klopp’s a pretty intense guy so not surprised he’d eventually need a break! Although did expect him to outlast Guardiola
Would be gutted in Lijnders left too. Wouldn’t be surprised if Salah moves to Saudi in the summer now, some big changes on the horizon
Suspect Salah was already leaving in the summer tbf
Does he get to name his successor or is that only a Fergie thing?
I've seen De Zerbi mentioned...
De Zerbi doing well, but so was Potter
Wonder how this impacts rest of season and if it gives a push or derails

Yeah always looked on the cards but imagine it's set in stone now, could bring in a decent warchest for the new manager
Timing of the announcement is a bit strange though, other than providing a bit of inspiration for the boys for the rest of the season. Gives us a bit of time to find a replacement I guess
Strange that Lijnders and the backroom staff are also leaving...
Could be the case that Klopp has his eyes on another job (Bayern) and is taking his team with him whilst the incoming manager (hopefully Alonso) brings in his own team.

Would be a good turn for both Liverpool and Bayern that.
Can imagine it’d be a pain in the erse if you’ve worked with a manager for that long and a new manager comes in and does things differently, especially with Klopp being such a likeable guy
