i was comparing hodgsons 17 games as pool manager to dalglishs last 17 games.

stats show that dalglish has done worse yet he is known as a messiah and hodgson was an idiot and got sacked

right as i say fan tactics were very good and could have got something vs City/Arsenal imo however you didnt because:

1) Injuries, Agbonlahor not been very good recently and dont think hed cause that much problems

2) FBs, both very attacking and not great defensivly, although Kolarov was fine against Park, Perriera always going to struggle vs Hazard and Marcelo, both goals came from there.

3) Park. Kolarov would have caused a lot of problems coming down the wing but Park always tracks back and very effective.

4) Taking Soldado off. Gives you an outlet, with you winning Chelsea were always going to put more pressure on so having Bent upfront wouldnt help as vs Terry hes not going to hold it up and with Carvalho there too theres someone who reads the game exceptionally well.

5) Midfield. Although right idea to do what you did, Yaya Toure, De Jong and Fabregas powerful enough and technichally gifted enough to eventually get through.

Still home advantage strong mid give a few results for weaker teams everyone had me down for at least a draw, park no game time crap lstd get with it and stop giving wimns to top 4 for the hell of it

secondly Park is not a crap player. Hes a very effective player at stopping players from attacking, why do you think he pretty much always starts the big games for man utd?

fourthly Chelsea had the better midfield that was just as powerful as yours.

it did wilshere but Agbonlahor and Willian not going to defend really are they and in Yaya Toure and De Jong there is possibly more power in that Chelsea midfield they dont have to play attractive like the other top 4 teams imo they can battle just as much hence, they won. Any other team probably wouldnt think you need to focus more on stopping wingers and attacking 2 at Chelsea rather than midfield

fan tbh from what i read in that game you matched chelsea equally but chelseas quality won it for them. if you carry on playing like that then you should be fine
