Liverpool FC are delighted to announce the appointment of LSTD on a long term contract as manager.

Q: LSTD, you quit as Chelsea manager straight after full time against Tottenham and then refused the offer to take over as their Director of Football. Had you fallen out with the owner?

LSTD: No our relationship is very good, he gave me the time and the recourses to build a great side for the club i love. I chose to step down as i need a new challenge, it felt like the right time to leave. I was offered the role of Director of Football but i want to continue in management. I would like to thank everyone at chelsea from the owner to the staff and the players, they have all been excellent to work with.

Q: Mr Comoli, were you dissapointed that vincent stepped down as manager?

Comoli: Vincent has turned this clubs fortunes around this season and we are thankful for that and wish him luck, when a club like Chelsea comes in you dont say no. When we heard that LSTD rejected the new role at Chelsea and the advances of Hull to replace Fan as manager we knew it was time to move. We have a manager now who can take us to the next level and we are delighted to have got him.

Q: LSTD, there has been a lot of talk about a revelotuion at Liverpool with you on board, will there be a lot of changes in personel?

LSTD: There will be both revolution and evolution. I want to make some changes to the team, in terms of personel, but i also want to change our style of play, we will be more fluid in attack, we have fast attacking wingers and we have two brazillians who can attack and defend to move our play faster and an am to be the creative man in the middle. We have two formations we are likely to test, both are south american and both will be seen through pre season.

Q: You have already had a clear out of players will this continue?

A: When i arrived some players were told they were surplus to requirments and they chose to leave, some went with Vincent and others will go elsewhere. Vaart was also signed by Chelsea, we wanted to keep him but couldnt stop him moving.

Q: Some players followed you, was that important for you?

LSTD: Yes, having players such as Ramires and Luiz follow me is fantastic it helps to improve the squad straight away, Cavani too was a fantastic signing. We also signed Isla and Mceachran. Sturridge joins on loan which is great too. Things are looking very good already.

Q: We heard that you have signed Pastore? Is this true and will any more follow?

A: Yes we can confirm that Javier Pastore has completed his move to anfield. We hope to sign a CB or 2 and maybe a winger then some general squad cover so major transfers will happen for us in the next two weeks. In fact i can confirm that Alex and Ivanovic have both joined the club along with Negredo. Unfortunatly David Luiz has moved on. But the club will try and get him back.

Vincent - It's a good offer, but Essien is getting and hit with frequent injuries and prefer Silva to Nasri.

I thought I might as well sell and bring in some fresh faces for next season, It's part and parcel of the game.

Vincent - I don't have Mata? I don't see any difference between Coentrao and Bale, Bale slightly overrated IMO.

Follow may be on 606V2. Cesc got msn. Can't remember it now might of deleted . But his IP is banned on this site :/ TJ i've asked and said he wouldnt have time. Same with 456. I've asked CSB (Legendary Gaffer) and he was interested in QPR but hasn't followed it up :/
