Can't say I've ever seen much of Reading. Just looking at their squad and surprised I haven't seen Alex Pearce mentioned in a Scotland squad given some of the defenders we have to put up with. Heard some talk of Harte getting a callup to Ireland squad in the summer as well!

Islam Feruz who moved to Chelsea refused to play for Scotland U-17s last night despite travelling up he apparentley said "I finished U-17 level a few years ago I should be in the U-21s" he then got on a plane back to London.

Yeah I think that was made up Chelsea had a youth cup game he chose to stay and play that as it was just an international friendly

Actually rhodes is too old for under 21 now

To be fair if he's playing for Chelsea reserves, he should be getting called up to Scotland U19s at least.

He's playing alongside Lukaku a lot which is fun to watch, very good together although atm Lukaku seems to always be with the first team and Bamford reserves, Feruz youth as he needs rests before fa youth cup final

I thought Busquets would have made a better cb than mascherano

Can't agree at all about Mascherano at cb. Barca cb's normally have it easy but think his positioning is poor and doesn't hold the line well at all from what I've seen. Not seen him up against a forward like Drogba before either, but I can imagine he wont do well.

has he, think you can get at that defence, but its a matter of stopping them as well, gonna be difficult tho and I cant see meireles starting on the left

Whenever I've seen him he's looked very good this season

Tbh we have so much of a height advantage we should just tell Drogba to stay up when we get the ball hit it long because those defenders aren't going to manage to stop him in the air! Get Ramires and Mata running off him, I'd have started Torres or Sturridge on the left for pace to play off Drogba
