Yeah I agree with that. If both play to their best then Sturridge > Welbeck but Welbeck puts in a shift. Sturridge reminds me of Hernandez. Scores or does nothing.

Koscielny MOTM IMO

Think Sturridge got more to his game that Hernandez he just won't use it.

think judging on the team today we have sacrificed 4th to try and win the CL, not sure thats the right idea but may as well give it a try, we should win our next few games even with a weaker team though if they play that well, if it wasnt for koscielny think we'd have won

after todays performance i would say Essien over Miereles but he wont play 2 games in quick succession yet, looked much better after a good 2 weeks rest though, improve on his fitness over the summer and we have our midfield dominator back

Essien over Mikel more likely. Meireles puts in a shift. Failing that, I reckon you should put Ramires in the middle and get a winger on. You need Ramires to run around the middle for 90 minutes chasing shadows.

Bertrand doesnt play in RVP's position though, battle of the LBs and we all saw who won

essien definitly wont start imo so imagine it will be the same team as the first leg, mikel played well so not too bothered there, if anything id maybe say romeu to start but perhaps risky. Ramires definitly needs to start on the left though, kept Alves queit and was excellent on the counter

Bertrand couldn't even manage the full 90 mins! Gibbs missed the last game through injury to be fair, but was still picked ahead of Santos.

Suppose you're right. Something for the summer though, go out and buy a winger who can play on the right when Sturridge isn't firing.
