Still though the players might have had the mentality that they were a bottom half club and there confidence was bad.
As you have seen with Liverpool, confidence is a hard thing to rise when you are performing poorly and you need to string a few wins together which Harry did immediately.
Hodgson has experience in abounds, prepared to take a risk and won't back down to clamoured nonsense
Oh and he can deal With average players
yeah but what our england team needs is proper english style tactics cause every countries play the way they know best.
we tried with capello italian style and it failed
hodgeson knows how to play the english way and we'll thrive under it
Your example of Liverpool doesn't really make sense. When Kenny took over he had a great run of form and was being hailed as a great manager, then after his honeymoon period he spent a fortune and hasn't delivered.
Redknapp was taking over a team that should have been far higher. He must have spent over £40m in the January of that first season as well.
spurs team redknapp took over
Gomes,
Hutton , Corluka, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto,
Bentley, Modric, Jenas, Huddlestone, Bale , Pavlyuchenko

I'm personally not surprised they have gone for woy, harry is massively overhyped and would get embarrassed on a big stage like the euros, expect a Carroll or crouch type to lead the line though, as woys main tactic is to lump it up to a big man from centre back, we nearly lost agger and Johnson down to his tactics
Bale didn't play he was about to be loaned out by Harry if not for a good performance in the League Cup.
i just used the team he played in the 4-4 with arsenal lol
But it wasn't which is the point I am making. They should have been higher but they weren't higher and there confidence was low.
He had to spend money to improve his team and he did just that.
But to be honest I like both managers really and I wouldn't have been bothered who they chose as long as it was one of them 2.
redknapp is a bit like mourinho. needs money to do well
Wouldn't compare the two myself.
Jose might spend money, but he does ridicuously well with what he has.
Jose is masses better at setting up his teams defence whilst still keeping that attacking flair
Atletico concede two in a couple mins
i know i wasnt comparing i was just saying mourinho likes to go somewhere with money which redknapp would probably want to go aswell
redknapp would miss the transfer window A LOT and would miss being a club manager cause he'd prefer a game a week rather than every other month
No more interviews in his car saying I really like that player but it's down to the chairman
Which is one of a couple of reasons why Redknapp wouldn't do as well and that is because he likes all the cash.
This is really the only reason why he would do poor is because he doesn't have any money.
Coutrois up for the corner
He didn't but his presence obviously helped Falcao with the goal!
