The great man has quit the game, I know he left under acrimonious circumstances but he was the perfect player for us at the time and scored a barrel of goals winning lots of games. Fergie was rewarded for waiting for him after his knee injury, and really he was a very good Striker. Would have loved to see Rooney & CR at his peak playing with RVN & Ronaldo slightly wider

Being a young player you shouldnt go to chelsea. They never give you a chance until you're like 23 or above and so the young player hasnt developed to his potential and they are sold

Scott Parkers career was hindered by him going there tbh. he could have done so much more had he not joined chelsea

Lukaku will get his chance, he's going to go out on loan next year which is what's needed he's only 19 can't expect him to be leading the line for a team like Chelsea at that age, no striker does! Hulk is a winger anyway if anything hell be replacing Kalou/Sturridge so don't see why he'll get in the way of lukaku

Also if you're good enough you will play. Sturridge has been given a chance, Romeu 19/20 played regularly until injury, Essien was like 19/20 too when we signed him, same for Cech, Kalou, Mikel, Lampard ect ect they've all played

Romeu 20 and Essien 20 a year older, in a position where you have players around you. You could not have put Lukaku in the Chelsea team at 19 this season, Drogba has 5 PL goals and Torres 6 until recently it's been impossible for our strikers it would have just wasted lukaku, may as well put him where he can play and get goals! Look at Bertrand too he didn't play at first but now getting his chance you have to be patient.

In fact can you really name any young player who should have got more of a chance at Chelsea and didn't?

when you have players like Mata, Ramires etc they should be getting plenty chances

But that's because they are different positions and I think both Essien Romeu were 20 anyway. Lukaku isn't ready to be leading the line for Chelsea simple as he was bought for the future he will be the future but he doesn't have to be playing straight away! Like I say hardly any strikers are regular at 19 if he's starting week in week out for a PL side there is cirtainly no problem with a loan!

Yes he was jet you only have to look to the Chelsea board on here for conformation!

Wilshere he was injured and when he got a chance wasn't good enough!! Essien was as young and better so why play Parker when we have a youngster who was better.

Like I say, Cech, Essien, Mikel, Kalou, Romeu, Sturridge, Robben, Cole, Lampard just a few that have come at young ages and played. If you're good enough you play, pretty sure it's the same at arsenal. Players who haven't made it, Sinclair, Parker, Di Santo, Van Aanholt, Taylor haven't been good enough, most of them aren't even that good anyway now, Parker is way over rated.

Only youngster who hasnt got a proper chance at Chelsea who should have was Stoch, and that was his choice, if he hadn't have demanding ridiculous wages he'd be playing for us now not fenerbache

He's just 19 for god sake has 2 very good strikers in front of him! It's not that he isn't good enough it's that we currently have better players. Why do people find that so hard to comprehend. Not as of we've had a season we can throw a youngster in at the deep end and hope he can lead our front line! It's not like playing in midfield or on the wing he's got to do it by himself especially in the current Chelsea team give the guy time!
