I still think he'll go to city he'll go for the massive wage IMO but if we could sign him I think we are really close to having a team to challenge would just be back up. I know we just finished 6th but you'd have to say thats partly down to AVB losing the players IMO

GK: Sorted, Cech has arguably been the best in the world so far in 2012! Back up I'd say maybe one decent one if Courtois is staying on loan which he should be imo
RB: Ivanovic is class, Bosingwa I think needs replacing for a new attacking FB, Azpilicueta my preference. Ferreira can stay and be 3rd or Hutchinson can do it if deemed hes fit enough now
CB: Terry, Luiz, Cahill sorted imo, Ivanovic and Hutchinson also available, Chalobah if we are down to the bare bones but hope he has a loan next year. Bruma may be back so fine there.
LB: Cole amazing he's fine, Bertrand should be getting more and more time, starting CL final suggests he will. 3rd choice can be Luiz.
DM: Mikel, Essien, Romeu sorted there
CM: Lampard first choice for another season, maybe 2 in this position playing brilliantly, would like to see Mceachran come back for back up, also have Miereles.
RW: Ramires first choice here if not at CM, he's been class. Back up, Sturridge? Kakuta should be there too so that's fine
AM: Mata first choice, then not sure, have players who can play there but only one who's natural position is maybe Kakuta? But De Bruyne there too hopefully
LM: need a first choice, Kalou pretty much said CL his last game. Hazard preferred choice, Hulk would also be a very good signing. Marin to cover, Kakuta and De Bruyne also there.
CF: Torres? If he wants to stay think he will if Drogba goes which he will IMO. Then we only really have Lukaku and Sturridge, imagine Lukaku will go out to somewhere like Wigan, so maybe a cheap CF back up, not sure who though

I think with the right signings arsenal can challenge too aswell as resigning RVP

However if we do challenge it will only be to like feb/march time imo.

i think the top 4 next year will be the same top 4 of 10/11 unless RVP goes.

Though i think arsenal should focus more on CL/FA Cup

Yeah I think he should be but I can also understand if he isn't. There really has to be a big rebuilding squad next season or the season after and not sure RDM is the man to do that, no experience of it and it will be difficult. I hope he at least stays as assistant though, but think he'll go elsewhere if he isn't given the job.

Whatever happens though he's a legend at Chelsea. There when the dream began and back to make it a reality as a manager, rescuing our season.

wow lukaku in an interview with a belgian magazine said he wouldnt go to get a medal or touch the CL trophy as he was only in the squad for it second half of season and feels he doesn't deserve it. Will get his medal when he plays his part in winning Chelsea the CL. Incredible that he didnt go for a medal but amazing self motivation i guess.
