It is with great regret that Portsmouth FC are forced to announce that this morning the club reluctantly accepted the resignation letter of PuntingRed.
Punting, who took over as our clubs manager on 2nd August last year, has done a sterling job in successfully meeting out target of achieving European Football for the club for the first time since Season 2. Having entertained us with pass & move football which secured results against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea & Birmingham, Punting has announced his desire to leave on the basis of 'personal reasons'.
We wish Punting all the best in his further endeavours and whilst no manager choice has yet been made, Punting himself will have a role to play on our selection committee.

I might pop back now and again as I'm helping to run the Dream League but I told LSTD I'd be leaving a few months ago.
Just won't have time with pretty much full time work over summer, then I want a clean break as I (hopefully) start University.
Please don't let a new manager desecrate Pompey, and I'm trying to get someone from the Dream League to take them over

its hard to differentiate cos of how other managers go on when they leave a club lol
yh i see these massive leaving statements then they just join a new club i dont know whos leaving or not anymore lol
