Is it any coincidence that No Drogba = better Torres? Do you think that the pressure is off him and that he's free to play how he wants?
I think in many ways yes it has helped, for a start he knows hes going to be the main man upfront, maybe thats given him more hunger to get into the scoring positions, something he wasnt doing before. Also with no DRogba, like Cole said in the interview after we have to change styles we cant knock it long and this way suits Torres much more.
Think the more we play like this, the more he'll score, the higher is confidence will become and by the end of the season hopefully his first 12-18 months will be well and truly behind him.
