1 would be better attack wise, 2 defence wise, 2 would struggle for width if FBs are forced to defend, 1 would struggle if opposition have FBs and wingers attacking you and a strong midfield to cover that

Martin could always be replaced with Sahin and play 3 CM's to support the wing backs sometimes and then the DM could be someone who could also adapt to CB to help defend.

id always look to play with wingers tbh, if you improve your team enough for next season you could adopt a 3-5-2 like juve with asamoah/licht type players outwide

Barce don't look that special so far. Chelsea been on top - and they have two schoolboys starting. Mind you neither have their best U19 players in the squad - Barce could have Delofoflolololeu and Dongou, plus Rafinha, Chelsea could have Chalobah, Aké, Blackman and Piazon.

Still looking to improve on Criscito, although I think that will be very hard, as there are few LB's better than him.

Got Ben Davies waiting in the wings, and he's been a revelation for Swansea this season, he's always impressed me when he plays, and I have another one in Schennikov, who I also rate very highly. Benjamin Mendy look's very promising as well, so load's of potential, but no one of Criscito's level yet

I could always play with a DM that can adapt into a CB role and Rolando and Otamendi can go as full backs with Martin can be in AM with Piatti and Callejon out wide adapting to a 4-2-3-1 again?

So something like this.

That could easily adapt into my normal formation and I could push both CM's forward in tricky situation and rely on them 4 at the back with Sahin/Lucho just droping off to quell any quick counter attacks so we can get men behind the ball. Rolando has adapted to LB before and Otamendi has also played there this season as well at RB. I could also sign Burdisso who can play LB/CB I think and has plnty of experience if I have injuries.
