Ive not been more nervous about any game for Arsenal this season than I have for United.

I just feel they have a point to prove and they're gonna be really up for it. Ive predicted a 3-1 win for United. Just think they're going to have the game of their season

Not sure I see it Wilshere, can see it being close and there being plenty goals but fancy Arsenal

Just feel United are experts at proving themselves when people start to doubt them

Arsenal players will know that United are our bogey team and that we havent won at OT for 7 years. Its whether we use it as motivation or not is what lies in our performance

When I look at the two sides I don't see Arsenal being nervous myself. They're playing with such confidence while United have been very shaky in the league.

Wouldn't be confident calling it either way at all, but swaying towards Arsenal. Things starting to look better for United but don't see this season going well for them, could get worse before it gets better so slightly tempted to stick a couple pound on Arsenal -2 to be honest.

I hope the media dont get too hyped up about us if we do win though.

We seem to play better when we're underdogs

I kind of want Arsenal to win just to see what Hansen and all have to say

But like to see Scottish managers do well (not got many players to cheer on have we) so don't want to see Moyes getting torn apart

Well what would be good for you then is to see an Arsenal win but a spirited United performance.

Would be a rare time United lose and still get praised

Birmingham make 8 changes for their league cup match this week

Breaking News

Birmingham Manager has been questioned on his team selection for the match against united. Many believe this is a chance for Birmingham to win something and the cup should not be taken for granted. This is what The Doctor had to say:

"The players I usually start needed a rest. They all have played a lot of games recently it was beginning to take its toll on the players. I also want to see how my other players would cope in the game. Many want to prove themselves so I needed to give them an opportunity to do so. I trust this team as much as my first team as I believe it is only a little weaker than my usual first team. They can beat Manchester United even if United play a full strength team."

However many people dont believe they can without playing their absolute best. Gary Neville off skysports had this to say:

"Birmingham have a lot to prove. They need to prove to everyone that they are still a top 4 side. They regard themselves as title challengers but in actual reality most neutrals would currently grant them as top 4 challengers. Teams like United, Portsmouth and Liverpool have made a step up this year and now have to be regarded as one of the top teams in the league. This may only be the league cup but it is still a chance for Birmingham to keep their dominance as a top 4 team. I just dont feel that this Birmingham side can do that."

Mark Lawrenson went onto agree with Gary Neville by saying even Birminghams first 11 might struggle against the United side:

"Manchester United have made a fantastic start to the season. i think now they have proven themselves as not only worthy top 4 challengers but also title challengers. I think they have shown they can stay there throughout the season. However if 1 team enters the top 4 another will exit. I would say Arsenal are safe for the moment however the other 3 of last years top 4 are not. Chelsea arguably have the greater chance of staying in the top 4 due to experience. City and Brum will be the ones who need to fight off united, pool and pompey. City look the most likely to drop out but the Birmingham side can aswell. They may have the best defensive record but imo that is their weak side. I see that they have played a weakened team for their cup game but this was a game to show their authority still. If they lose then negativity will grow in St Andrews. Birminghams first 11 would struggle vs Manchester United. I dont think this 11 put out stands a chance. The only way they'll win tomorrow is if they're still in it come Birmingham make their subs. Even if United play a second team i dont see Brum winning"

However Michael Owen disagrees and says this 11 is still a challenging 11:

"I dont understand how people can question the 11 put out by The Doctor. They are all good players. Pastore, Willian, Mandzukic, Hummels, etc are all challenging players. It will be a hard game for Birmingham of course but it will also be hard for United. The game could go either way but im backing Birmingham to win it."

One thing is for sure this will be an interesting match up and if as expected United play a weakened team too, it is going to be an exciting match indeed.

Manchester United vs Birmingham City is live on Saturday Night Football 5:30pm kick off.

Good side, think Mikel deserved to keep his place but glad Azpi does
