Kane should not be involved in picking the new manager at all. That would be no way to run a football club, allowing an individual player to pick the new manager.

Seek his opinion on a shortlist of managers.
Why would his opinion be any less valid than any of the other people involved in the decision. Probably, and should have, greater weight.

Yes he can have an opinion, but so can Serge Aurier. Bottom line is though the appointment of a manager should be down to the hierarchy at the club, who pay the wages, not any individual player.
