It could be that he doesn’t know who he wants, but even if he did, they won’t come. Making it two out of the two things?
You borrowed a billion to build a huge White Elephant. It will turn out to be a scaled down version of a Chinese Ghost City! 😂
Looks like Eddie Howe is the man after turning down Celtic.
Now who can we offload on to you? After all, Howe like paying over the odds for our dross.
As long as whoever it is, is in place for the start of the transfer window.
No top manager will want work for Levy now, he has a damaged reputation now. Sacking Poch after failing to back him > appointing a washed up Mourinho > sacking Mourinho > then openly courting the return of Poch 18 months later. This shows incompetence in my opinion. Any top manager, including Poch, will steer clear of him. All of this talk of his return was fantasy stuff. Why would he leave PSG to join Spurs?
So, I think the answer is
1. The people Levy wants won’t come

Poch apparently isn’t on good terms with the owner and hasn’t got as much control as he was led believe he would have when he took over.
His family still live in London and they’re settled, plus he loves our club.

1. The people Levy wants won’t come
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is much of the truth.
Levy has an abysmal reputation as a chairman to work with.
Any good manager that Levy would consider has options, and Levy would be bottom of that list.
However is does seem Pochettino might consider a deal to return, for personal reasons.
However, I'll guess Poch has other options if he doesn't like PSG. e.g., RM.
The terrible thought is that Levy could do worse than stick with Mason, and might well do worse!

Au contraire mon frere. I would suggest that a manager working for levy knows that he will become a very wealthy man. Levy hands out huge contracts, and eventually inevitably sacks you for a tidy pay off. Managers are humans and the money will be part of their consideration.
The problem is, Levy will want a manager to come in and play exciting football the Spurs way to appease the fans, he will also want somebody to come in and work with a minimal budget, and to get the existing players to over achieve. These kind of managers are like rocking horse shiete. Levy expects Harrods results for Aldi money.

Come to Spurs and:
1) If you get Top4 Levy is happy but it’s also kind of expected.
2) Get to a couple of semis
3) Overachieve and come 2nd at a push
But then you ask for players to make the final push and it doesn’t happen.
And repeat
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Enic have no real ambition to win trophies. Just to maintain the status quo of being in the champions league and getting the fans to pay the highest prices in Europe.
Option 3. Things in real life aren't as simple as we want them to be.
As much as Levy has facked up and should totally step away from football matters he deserves some slack here. Kane just chucked a bomb under the whole thing. Whoever comes in will want to know what job they're taking on. We have to get that sorted first. Like I said on the other thread, we need to set a price and a date. But Levy won't cause he'll want to start a bidding war no doubt. Everyone will get sick of it, Kane will sulk, and he'll go to United for 110m plus bonuses.

According to some of our supporters it is all Levy`s fault, as it was all Jose`s fault when he was here. Nothing about any of the previous managers in the past 30 years that have failed to win either the FA Cup or the League, despite Levy giving them all plenty of money to purchase players.

The managerial search seems to be very scrambled. Levy wrote his note a couple of weeks ago about how he wants attacking free flowing football back. If that were the case Potter is the outstanding candidate and he should have been over to Brighton on Monday morning to buy him out.
Now this week some top manager's are seemingly available and Conte and Poch are on the table. Two manager's who will come with huge demands. If Levy is capable of backing them seriously then great, but I'm still pretty concerned he won't want to. If that's the case he has to get Potter ASAP.
