He has an elite mentality. He never let's his head drop. He never stops trying. If he misses he doesn't shy away from the next chance.
Giroud has been more effective at arsenal and complimented the team far better than Laca and Auba
I've always rated Giroud highly. He's a way-above-average squad option. Although he's not the quickest, he has surprisingly good technique and can score spectacular goals, as well as being a model professional.
A very solid pro who manages to stay fit almost all the time but beyond that he's never been a top level striker. Is probably becoming overrated now people see him play a lot less

Maybe for people who haven’t seen him play throughout his career. I don’t particularly miss him, he was pretty average for Arsenal when you take into consideration he was replacing RvP. But credit where it’s due
Chelsea have simply used him the way he should be used. Bench/squad rotation/plan b.
Never been a top level striker, when he does start regular he does have his fair share of misses and mistakes as we saw at Arsenal. But a very useful player to have and we have missed having him as an option since he left. Credit to him for having the right attitude to be that plan b, many a player would kick up a fuss at not being the star striker at the top level, then end up playing at mid table teams.
I want to see the same article for CHoupo moting
His 3 month goal drought in 2016 handed Lesta the title.

I dunno, I think a lot of people now rate him highly when in reality he's still very average. Capable of the sublime at times but overall really lacking in consistency
It's so sad to see people STILL trying to sh !t on the player. It's the same crap any time there's news about him that flies in the face of people calling him sh !t all the time. You begrudgingly accept the indisputable stat/fact which underlines his quality as a player but then immediately follow it up basically with "He's not Henry/Aguero/MBappe. As though only the very pinnacle of the footballing elite can be considered one of the world's best players and the others are all meaningless.
Not being the 30 goal a season elite 100 mil signing striker, does not preclude someone from being an elite player. People criticise Giroud because of how he was used at Arsenal instead of paying attention to the man himself and what he gives. Anye saying he's not WC or not one of the best ever doesn't really understand the concept of how TEAM sport and SQUADS work. I know I'd want him in my team or on my bench, as a player. Because you can't win the title/tournament without THAT player. He's just as critical as your 30 goal/100 mil man. Because he's the "dirty work" player to the glory boy you all wanna hate him for not being. A winning team needs BOTH players and Giroud is one of the wold's best if not the world's best to have for that role.
