'new normal' is annoying.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, new normal isn't normal at all so **** off
Good job we don't have Sid Waddell commentating on football. Hit the MUTE button!
Motty liked his own certain phrases and spouted a load of stats sometimes, forgetting to commentate. But you couldn't fault his knowledge of footbaĺl.
Goal of the Season is overused.
My favourite though, so often heard by various commentators, is "Penalty to Man United".
A PE teacher of a football manager.
Where on earth did this saying originate from?

Probably because he used to dress up in PE teacher uniform on match days.

It was coined by none other than Robb!
I have one supplier that constantly tells me on the phone she will 'ping' me an e-mail.
"It's a big ask."
No, you clown. It's a big task.

Uuuurgh. Office jargon
“Lets circle back to this.”
“We’re taking a holistic approach, yeah?”
“Can you action this item, asap?”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
“Has [name] been looped in?”
“I think [name] is across this.”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just ping me an email and we can drill down into it during the morning pre-meeting scrum
In terms of football sayings which need to end:
Clutch
3-peat
There’s levels
Bottler/Bottled it
Rattled
You love to see it
There’s bloody loads, I blame Twitter.

he'd like to think so ... but it's a term widely used by anti-United posters on many other Man United forums and social media platforms.
"United have set their stall out, early doors".
WTF?
Seems that champions of mediocrity term has really got to some of you.

Don't get me started on 'low block' and 'double pivot'.
What utter spacker came out with them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Low block is a gaming term. It's a fighting tactics used in games like Street fighter. When using low block, players crouch down, hold on to the block and rely on low kicks to the ankle to inflict damage.
It's the most defensive, boring way to play the game. So using 'low block' to discribe burnley or villarreal makes perfect sense.

I can't work out if they mean 'championing mediocrity' (i.e. us), or if United are Champions of Mediocrity. The articles seem directed at other posters on 606 rather than the club itself.
It's a bit of a meaningless phrase and doesn't really apply to a team that finished in the top third of the top division (never mind the top two), so it fits the buzzword criteria perfectly.

Indeed. I have asked Indian what he means by this and if he understands what mediocrity means, only to never get a reply.

I think N2 needs to be asked also if he can explain what he means by it.
I'd ask RDD as well, but let's not kid ourselves here. Like red Indian, he wouldnt have a clue what it means.
