Fairly pointless non game...who cares

Sometimes feel like England fans just need something, anything to moan about.

Southgate was absolutely right to play the team he did for reasons other posters have mentioned. Five days on from a Champions League final, with the emotional and physical demands that involved, let alone the travelling to and from Porto. Last night's gam also gave Southgate an opportunity to take another look at fringe players.

Not sure what else he could've done.

Also, if it were his mates club, and you think he only played those lads because they're his mates, why has he dropped them from the squad?

utter rubbish! He had 26 players to chose from, and he picked players who are not even going. England is a joke!

I think in theory he had 26 to choose from but quite rightly decided to not pick any of the European finalists?
