He’s world class

That’s not the argument.
Sorry wrong article.
I thought Dias or Bruno would’ve won it
Isn't this award voted for by the players in the Premier League? If so, you have to respect your choice, Which 3 or 4 do you consider to be more deserving?

Dias, Gundogan, Kane and Fernandes. KDB played 25 games.
Thought he was well below his normal standards for much of the season.
Don't think players watch many live games, tbh. They get the highlight reels and in match experience, do their judgement is a bit different to fans.

yep, not quite sure why the opinions of the players are held up as paradigms, i doubt that many of them watch that many live matches not featuring their team - unlike coaches, or journalists - and i'm sure that eg kane has a good opinion on who the best cb he faced all year is, but presumably very little to add in the "did saint maximin have a better season than raphina?" debate.
and with regards to de bruyne, i think most city fans would - and have - admit that he hasn't had the best season, or been their best player.
I would probably say Kane, because whilst KDB is a world class player, he's surrounded by world class players. Kane is pretty much Tottenham on his own.
Utter joke he’s won it over Kane.
Kane being robbed of another award.
City been easily the best team but KDB hasn't had one of his better seasons at all. Injured a fair bit and nowhere near as Influential as normal. Still a wonderful player though.
Incredibly lazy vote.
He’s obviously a brilliant player but I do find the pundits cream their pants whenever he does anything good.

How do you argue against players vote. They play against these players, and decide who they think is the best.
Can't argue with people's thoughts but I don't think any player has had most goals and most assists ever in the premier league. It's a unique achievement unlikely to be repeated. For that reason I think Kane deserves it more. Just because his team is rubbish shouldn't take away from an individual award.
In 1999 after we'd completed the treble and had the best season ever in the memory of English football they gave David Ginola one of the awards. I will never forget that. 😂

They don’t watch them that often I wouldn’t have thought.
Was he even in City top 5 players?
These awards are often based on reputation rather than actual performances...KDB hasn't even been City's best player, he's just their highest rated one.
Not sure how it doesn't go to a guy who is top scorer and top assists playing for a mid table team under the most negative manager in the league.
6 PL goals last season ffs
It’s mental Kane didn’t win both player of the year awards over Dias and KDB.
He was phenomenal in a terrible spurs team this season and won golden boot.
Kane has been robbed to not win anything. Bruno has been better than KDB too even if our team hasn't been as good as City's has.
Dias is fair enough though. You can't argue with that one.
