The guy is a human and must work very hard. I think it is fair that he has a holiday.
Hopefully it'll give him some clarity and he'll make some good decisions.
More recently the trend has been bad and we should have built on our position from 2/3 years ago, but if you zoom out and look at his 20 year tenure, he's certainly taking us in a good direction.
I am looking forward to seeing the Paratici project.

He can go on holiday when he’s sorted out a manager, that’s his primary objective. Things will be quiet during the Euros so sort a manager then have a break. Not that he won’t be working over there, Levy works 365 days a year so I’m not concerned that he’s away, but it does suggest the Fonseca thing might be little more than rumours as I doubt we’d be announcing a new manager with Levy out of the country.

I think Levy has gotten himself too far into the limelight which he loved but as our form turned around he has realised that he has become far too exposed to the fans. He'll be taking a step back. It is the wisest thing to do.

Yes Paratici is apparently chosen Fonseca and like Ace says, the fact Levy has disappeared on hols does suggest that Fonseca deal is probably sawn and that it will be announced when Mt Magoo is back from a refreshing pina colada hols!

Paratici hasn’t even been officially announced by the club, and don’t kid yourselves that Levy doesn’t have final say on everything from what colour bog roll we put in the khazes to who the new manager is. Paratici is an advisor, Levy is and will always be the decision maker at this club.

This could just as easily be a business trip to have a frank conversation with Lewis about funding. He'll likely spell out that the fan base were already on the edge after the whole ESL fiasco, and the pending announcement of Fonseca will tip them over. He'll be fearing the reaction with good reason. It could be a personal face to face conversation about getting Lewis to release more funds to allow the club to get in a better manager with a greater transfer budget.
I wouldn't read this as the deal having been done.
Plus, there's not a chance in hell that he's handed over the decision making to Paratici. It's not his style. Paratici will likely have a say but he'll have to work with whoever the club decides to bring in. We can't have someone who's never worked in the Premier League making managerial decisions so that it makes it a more harmonious relationship. It's too important for that.

Amen to this. Paratici also should know what a player with the right mentality looks like. Hitchen and Levy haven't won much between them. A poor combination for me. At least a DoF will help. Jose might have also benefitted from having one.
