Whilst I agree I think it's also fair to say that this was a bit of a Poch faack up too
He made more appearances last season for Villarreal than he did in 3 seasons with us.
De Bruyne, Mo Salah, and now Foyth.

The season Poch was sacked he was gonna play him as a right back but got injured during pre-season.
What could have been!
I agree that both managers didn't give him enough of a chance but equal blame goes to Levy for allowing an option to buy clause.
I liked Foyth but I think there's a big chance that his game is just better suited to Spain than England
He was shocking for Spurs. Some baaaad performances in there.
He was given a few opportunities but couldn't take them when he needed to. Maybe the Spanish league suits him but he looked way over his head over here. Good luck to him.
Foyth was certainly a victim of Poch’s poor use of the loan system
Bit disappointed with that, letting a promising youngster go, especially a defender when we have such a car crash of a back four as it stands.
Never mind move on, and wish him well.

He was fit for Poch's last 10 games and only started one of them. He went with sissoko at RB over him one game.
Giving game time to unestablished players was something Poch started to struggle with when the stakes got higher. Same story with KWP

It's so weird how Mourinho let's these young players go for dirt cheap, so that if they do improve then the club, whether Chelsea or Spurs, don't get the benefit of either his good performances or a good transfer fee for him.
No real miss, doubt he would have been first team in PL, too many errors
I saw Foyth a few times when he was getting in at Spurs and I never truly rated him, he just didn't look suited to the PL personally. Seems to have flourished more in Spain now and that level seems to suit him much more.
Probably a good player, just in the wrong league. I don't think it was wrong for Spurs to sell him.

Not really sure you can blame Jose for that, he hardly had a game under the previous manager either. Most, probably including myself, said it was best he went on loan.
Decent fee for Chiriches mk2
Clearly had potential, but equal liability in games for us. I'd assume the view loan him out and get a decent fee whilst putting more faith in Tanganga.
Tanganga has also been underused until getting thrown back in against City I think it was.
god knows why we didnt persist with him at RB, not like we had good options ahead of him

He was never a CB. I was calling for him to be given a try as a DM, as he was decent on the ball - much more so than Dier who Poch had been happy to use as a DM. Then Poch started using him as a RB pre season, only for him to get injured and that was that. Given that Aurier is gonna go we really would’ve been better off keeping him, letting him go for €15m is a waste as we’ll be spending more than that on a new RB you’d think.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm happy with money in the bank. If Aurier goes o PSG that's £30m+ so far into the coffers. Might get us Max Aarons
We are also getting €5m for Marcus Edwards who is reportedly moving to Sporting Lisbon. 50% sell on clause.

Lamptey is a great prospect - although you’d wonder what effect the injury will have on his development.
I don’t think these type of players will be the direction we move in now. I’d say it will be looking for high profile free transfers and/or loan to buy deals.
Oh and the usual bargain bin a la Doherty, N’Kouduo, N’Jie, Fazio, Stambouli etc
