Good to hear the reports of him being stabilised. It might sound like an oxymoron but a football pitch during a professional match must be one of the safest places to suffer a heart attack.

I said the very same thing to my wife, at least they have the medics on hand. But it didn`t look good for him all the same.

A lot of reports say it was sudden cardiac arrest. Respect to both teams tonight who showed massive compassion in extreme conditions.
Eriksen career will be over now but he had a wonderful career and went out on a high winning Serie A. He will make a full recovery now no doubt, but I wouldn’t want to see him on the field again after that. Wish you well Christian you yi**do

I just hope for his sake there's no long term damage and he can have a normal life with his Mrs and child.

This....awful incident...well done to all the medical staff and his team mates for creating that wall.

Exactly. Had it been a Sunday morning kick around on the Hackney Marshes then the outcome wouldn’t (probably)have been as good
Thought Id come on your board as nothing about Eriksen on the Arsenal board. Things like this transcend team rivalries and football. I wasnt watching the game but shocked when I heard what had happened.
Denmark captain Simon Kjaer apparently ensured Eriksen didnt swallow his toungue and cleared his airway, started CPR, then consoled Eriksens wife. We have the player of the tournament right here for that.
