of the starting line up really only Christie and O'donnell i thought shouldn't have been there.
I dont even think Marshall is 2nd best keeper in the squad but understand why he gets the nod.
Other managers make the harsh decisions though, look at wales. Hennessey had saved a penalty for them to qualify yet doesn't get in because manager makes the call.

This. You've got to pick your best players, loyalty shouldn't come into it at all. There simply aren't enough games in the group to get away with it, and this was our must-win. O'Donnell was only ever in the squad because we didn't have any other RB options - Patterson is there now and played more big games in half a season than O'Donnell has his entire career. Christie has had an awful season and is totally off form, so god knows on what basis he got into the starting lineup. Even team selection can't account for mad individual mistakes like Marshall being so far off his line for the second goal though.

Great game though, low quality but really enjoyable to watch.
Hope it's a cracker Friday night between us. Buzzing for it. We were pretty good against what I think I'd an excellent side in Croatia but Scotland are so difficult to play no matter what the difference in quality is between the two sides.

I agree with that.
Guess most are inexperienced at that level so naturally the guys that got him there will get the nod, and rightly so.

I think we will sit back far more against England and Croatia. So we have the chance of maybe 3 points between the 2 games
England I'm afraid are generally underachievers and unless u can accept that u will never move on im afraid, lets be honest winners not just once but on many occasions at different tourneys across the globe are brazil, germany, France, Italy spain, etc, you always seem happy to win once and gloat on it forever, now for some people that may be successful but in my opinion winning once the next generations should want to surpass previous successes which in my opinion theres other countries have done and have done it away from home, anyway I couldnt give a monkeys about England, apologies im more imterseted in my own country so id prefer to move on, thanks.
