Dave, as a lifelong Leeds fan, I’d take Kalvin scoring the winning goal in the final over all of this….and imagine the old Leeds boys like John Charles and Jackie Charlton up there smiling down on him with pride.

I most likely embarrassed myself and got it wrong...just need to understand where I got it wrong.. so sorry to be a pain. You generally get it spot on.

Could you check my scores? Says I got 26 points but I think it should be 33. I was on 20 points after the first two games, which I think was correct, and then got a correct result for England and a correct scoreline in the Czechs v Denmark yesterday. Think the Czechs v Denmark has only been counted as a 3 pointer.

That's the predictions I made

Tway and Merry. I am not near my PC at this time but will check over. I do not score the game but my spreadsheet does the job. I just copy paste entries. On odd occasions this goes wrong when I copy the same entry twice into 2 different columns. Or a space occurs in entries, or I put the wrong score in as the result. This mucks up lots of entries when that happens and us obvious.

I will be interested to see which one it is.. Will get back later when I can open it up.

My friend in Crete, Emkriti, normally does my KOP scrutiny but is taking a break and would have spotted the error.

Actually that is my main interest in doing the games. Devising a spreadsheet that can do almost all the work kept me busy in the early stages. I have had help in devising the calculations from Emkriti and in producing the HTML coloured tables by BL Leeds in the past.
Admin also give help in allowing me to post weird things on their site and not muck anything up.

So far the dreaded dementia has been blown away with all the brain activity.

I relate to the last bit, deciding to learn a brand new language of another sort, Mandarin actually, that also effectively (so I hope) to combat the deadly D ...
Combating another "D".....atm...as well it occurs to me.

I've came out of nowhere and I thought I had a poor set.

Tway, Real Estate and Call Sign. It is a worry to see the stress and passion that KOP is causing in these later stages. With fans getting annoyed at another goal being scored by England ? Imagine the final if Italy v England and your predicted time of 1st goal is approaching and Italy get a penalty. Call Sign would be very happy but others ??? Minutes ticking by will be a pain for some but....... /

To be fair I was annoyd at all 4 of England's goals. Papa Murnenko will be upset.

I am hoping that Papa Murnsen is a bit happier this week

I love the excitement of it all...I'm also playing in 2 other private duels...and its their score that is important too. I had England 2-0...My mate at 3-0 So when the 3rd went in I thought...blew that....but the 4th rubbished my rival's (private) prediction so was delighted again .
I needed the clean sheet as well so its great fun in all ways.

I ain't gunna win it but good chance of a top three finish!
