Most Leicester fans would have been saying at the time why are we paying £12m for a reserve keeper!

Because he isn’t better than Ally and is too good to be a back up

His values going up though..

Probably wanted to leave and we got a cracking price too.

12million and he wanted to go sit on a bench elsewhere.

All day long it was a good deal.

Adrian for free only wastes a spot as no 2 but he won us a super cup and did his bit and now we have kelleher so who cares what ward is doing.

btw just thinking on this.

a few games doesn't make a player. Adrian looked "decent" for a few games last season. Heroic even.

Best of luck to danny ward, he wanted to go do something but he did join a club with a strong incumbent keeper and ended up on a bench just like he would have been here.

Is he any better really than what we have in reserve? I doubt it. could we get more gambling his value would have gone up?

probably not as that crystal ball stuff should now factor in covid and the price actually going down.

LOL. He's been No.2 to Schmeichel since they bought him. He would have had better chance being ahead of Mignolet instead. I think the reason was FSG don't think too long when opportunities come for profit making. He also made a rush decision thinking he was good enough to be No.1 at that time when he had a very good pre-season. He might have been better than Mignolet but not Schmeichel
