So as I understand it (but let's be honest it could change again because it's Spurs) Gennaro Gattuso was Fabio Paratici's preferred choice and he wanted him at Juventus before he left, but he wasn't available for Tottenham.

That's not true though - they said we were trying to make Poch happen but PSG weren't having it (true) and that we were agreeing terms with conte but eventually talks stalled (true)

They never claimed either was done

Thats pretty low if true

He's an extremely reliable journalist - if you want to be one of those enlightened "all journos make everything up' types than be my guest but at the minute it's not really contributing much to the conversation so maybe do that elsewhere

Does Gattuso fit our DNA then?

Know nothing about him as a manager, but going by his playing style I would be surprised if he is a free flowing football kind of guy.

No offence lads but this is beyond banter. One of the richest clubs (well certainly top 10 I imagine) behaving like rank amateurs in trying to appoint a manager.

If there's any truth to this it's absolutely outrageous. He's not even officially in the job and Paratici is dragging us through the mud. I could get it if it was Conte that had just become available, but Gattuso? The whole lot of them can get facked.
