Leicester got themselves a great player here, really dissapointed we aren’t in for him.

This reminds me of signing fofana in that until about 3 days ago I had never heard of him and now all of a sudden the move looks on and he’s going to absolutely kill it in our team..

He’s one of those wildcard signings that would be hard to call. Could be unbelievable, could be Ahmed Musa. However I like the sound of him and I also think he’d have time to develop and adapt in the prem with Vardy and Ian still having a couple of seasons together so we could ease him in.

Fans from other clubs seem to rate him. Strangely I feel like this is an action to push through the Edouard deal and help push his fee up. Could be wrong though.

Some how I’d never heard of him before our interest,.

some reliable sources on Twitter saying it’s more or less done, and the reaction of opposition fans to this news has me very excited.

Open minded, they can always go either way, look at Ian, took him a long time to get where he is now, Slimani, Musa, Kramaric all players who could have succeeded here but didn't.

This will be a very interesting one if it actually happens. He looks like a decent package, reasonably quick, good ball control, scores with head and both feet - and is over 6 feet tall. Here's a taste:

Mind you, not sure about the standard of the Austrian League so how would he fare in the Prem?

What would be fascinating is the possibility that the club might actually get it right with a forward for once! A tad unfair I suspect given that the list includes two of the all time best acquisitions - Vardy and Mahrez, but that's going back a fair while. Recently the purchases have been less than auspicious. Even the one exception to that - Ian - has taken time to come good.

Yes hard to disagree with that - we haven't quite managed to get the attacking signings right so it's about time we struck gold!

On Ian - i'm personally still yet to be convinced that he is a long term solution. Obviously he surprised us all with his fantastic run, but just before that hot streak (thinking of that penalty miss in particular) he was pretty much done IMO and the final few games he seemed to shrink backwards.

We need reinforcements regardless, but there must be some doubt in the back of minds at the Club whether Ian can be truly relied upon.
