Phillips was found out today. All he did v Croatia was run forward. He was further up than kane as a supposed o 6. He looked great when given the freedom of the park but a functional scottish side blocked space and nullified him. Should also have had a yellow for reaction.

Rice was over run

That's two games out of two that Kane has just lumbered around doing nothing. He has to be dropped. He's slower than a stoned sloth.

Southgate's defensive mindset is the antithesis of what would be best for this squad of players. Playing two DM's is gutless and doesn't work. Phillips performance against Croatia was very good, but the principle is flawed. Play Rice or Phillips, not both.

Foden, Grealish and Mount should all be playing. Southgate needs to grow some balls and find a system to incorporate these players. Kane needs dropped with extreme prejudice, he's been facking appallingly.

I think there’s a case to drop Rice and Phillips who both look bang average to me. I would bring in Hendo and Sancho.

And Kane has to go. I watched him make his debut for Spurs and he’s a pale shadow of that player. No desire or energy at all. Spurs have broken Harry for good.

Hate to say it but Pickford looked very good yesterday he’s clearly progressed a lot in a season or two.
