Kane is knackered, he's been carrying Spurs all season, a season we're we started early to qualify for Ropey league, been a long tiring season needs a rest.
What’s the calculation for the 80% pre Enic trophy success rate ?
Under sugar we won almost fack all.

I wondered this?
Is this one of those that if we reach the semis we go on to win type thing? If so I'm still dubious
80% Would love to see how you calculated that morespunk
Spurs play for a maximum 4 trophies a season. 80% success rate meant they won the treble every season and the odd quadruple. I don't remember those days.

fairly simple actually, 2 trophies won/46 entered = 80%
Do you mean we won 80% of the finals we participated in, compared to 14% under ENIC? I cant figure out what else this could possibly mean.
Unless the OP means Spurs have gone from an 80% chance of bottling trophies they actually might've won, to 14%, due to them no longer really contending for them in the first place?
80% success rate. so every 10 seasons we'd win 8 trophies.
oh yeah. I remember those day
Even a 14% success rate would be good. Let’s say four trophies are available to be won, each season on average, over 20 years that’s 80 trophies. So 14% would be 11 trophies.
OP how have you calculated this ?
Probably means success rate in finals but then why not just say so.
We have lost 4 from 5 finals with enic.
I can only recall us losing in 2 finals prior to 2000.
Correction - its 5 out of 6 finals lost.

I think that is what he means, Spurs have lost three finals pre ENIC. 1974 UEFA Cup Final v Feyenoord, 1982 League Cup Final v Liverpool, 1987 FA Cup Final v Coventry.
Spurs used to have a great record in finals, 21st century has been poor, but you cannot really blame ENIC, that is more to how the players have performed. Silly argument to blame ENIC.

yes how silly to think enic has anything to do with it.
