Sandy is ITK!
At the beginning of the search I would have been fuming with Martinez. However, Levy has successfully ground me down and at this stage he's one of the better candidates left.
I’m guessing the OP doesn’t wantMartinez.?
Sandy ITK this is what Spurs farcical manager search has reduced us to.
Martinez plays good football but his teams can often be wide open at the back. My other issue with Martinez is that he has not outperformed Southgate and England despite having a superior squad of players to choose from. Yes they beat us twice at the last World Cup, but they were knocked out in the semis just like we were.
Sandy who do you know down the Bowls club who is connected to Spurs?
12 or 13th place beckons then if it’s him. Still don’t think it is.

Don, I am expecting much better than last season, so should be knocking on the door of a top four place. Let`s be fair, but for all the silly dropped points, 20 from leading positions, Spurs would have absolutely cake-walked top four last season, despite having what was perceived to be a poor season. The Prem is not that good Don, so if the players get their act together, no reason why they should not be having a good season.
No way will they be finishing 12th/13th.

Indeed. Too many people go way over the top about our season last season. It will not take much to imrpove us quite a bit and its always the case that a stronger defence gives more confidence to the whole team. Despite attacking wealth, a time can rarely have that air of invincibility if they leak goals - You just have to see how defensive frailties affected the whole Liverpool team last term. They didnt score at home for ages when they had a couple CBs injured.
For me this is why Martinez would always be the wrong choice. There are loads of managers out there who can play attacking football but unless our defence is significantly improved we will not seriously challenge.

Absolutely the defence needs tightening up Devonshire, despite it still being the 6th best in the division, it certainly did not feel like it. But with the amount of goals Spurs scored, just shutting the shop on conceeding in a few games last season, would have done wonders for Spurs. All the dropped points after leading in 1-1 draws against Newcastle, Fulham, Palace, Wolves etc would have put Spurs in the top four with a bit to spare.
