not going balls deep for ten Hag or Potter when the season finished was a big mistake.
cutting off talks with Fonseca was proper cvnty, and i came round to the idea of him and how he'd be a very good fit.
after an embarrassing merry-go-round search we are left with few options than even please 80% of the fan base.
Conte is obviously one of the best at what he does in the world but at spurs with levy, financial restrictions etc it wasnt one we should have even gone for.
Levy has constantly gone against what he has said he wanted for a manager with Nuno though.
also the timing of the appointment (very late) means that we have been fishing for free agents. which further limits realistic options.

he appointed Paratici and if he does a crap job thats then back on Levy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Paratici does a good job and we sign a decent manager with good players he gets the credit. Same if we have a good season.
If it all goes pete tong it's all on Levy. If anything goes wrong its on fecking Levy. This is likely outcome.
When I say "he" gets the credit I mean Paratici.

What do we want ? Owners and a chairman that harbour the ambition to push the club forward and invest in the playing field because ours simply don’t. A chairman that when one of the best managers in Europe is interviewed and wants to win titles with the club, they offer him an attractive enough package. You call us moaners, yet have no comeback for the complete shambles of a football club we are right now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy is a pratt, agreed. Is the club a shambles...NO quit all the hyperbole. If we get a manager and 4 signings many fans won't be saying it's a shambles. Many are fickle.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But we won’t mate and you know it. 4 usual cheapo signings and not the required quality we desperately need. It’s not hyperbole mate, it’s well known facts. We haven’t managed to hire anyone for the managerial position in over 2 months dude, we are a shambles
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Levy has been an embarrassment. My one silver lining is the Euros and Copa. As shambolic as these last fee months might appear. We somehow scrapped into Europe and most of our rival clubs have all their players away on international duty.
For me, July 1st will be the real litmus test of the strategy moving forward. I'm fine waiting to see what happens until then.
