Gen Z carrying on like they don’t consume more advertising than any generation in history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You're still around now, so you consume the same amount of adverts despite being a different generation right? Or do they consume more than you because of their age?

Ask yourself what are the top 10 platforms for advertising then consider your own question. They consume more.

It’s funny to think that some people reckon ad blockers insulate them from all ATL, BTL and TTL forms of marketing.

It depends on what platforms people are on doesn't it.

I would have thought so. That is the only real way to link it. I mostly watch Netflix, Prime or Disney+ which are subscription, so don't see many TV adverts. In fact, the only time I see adverts is when I watch live sports.

Whereas I imagine people that use social media like Facebook or YouTube to watch stuff see loads, like those who mostly watch TV.

Rather than look at it like that though, people want to turn it into a culture or generational war like everything else these days. Take away individuality and group everyone else to make yourself feel superior.

One of those adverts that is mildly funny the first time but will get annoying with time

You do see plenty of adverts on those channels though Tamwolf. Especially if you watch a lot of content. Netflix etc might be ad free, but they certainly aren’t brand free.

A cheap copy of the Budweiser one. Whichever copywriter signed that off was just banking on gen Z and millennials not being aware of/remembering that “wassup?” ad.

Nothing is brand free though. Every generation at present is constantly taking in adverts if that is your criteria. To pretend it is mainly one generation is stupid.

Still banging on about different generations.

You're really into these cultural divisions.

Who’s pretending what is one generation? If you’re still contesting that 1634s today are exposed to more ads than any in history then you’re wrong.

All of us are exposed to more ads than ever before and more diverse marketing capabilities. Young people are the most heavily targeted demographic, ergo…

I wasn’t the one who brought it up. Some twonk was going on about boomers and ad blockers…

Haven't watched normal TV for few years but it is still the best for live sport, much better than the apps which always run a minute or so behind it seems.

Hulu has ads which gets irritating, you think you will throw on a 20 min show and its the old fashioned 30 mins almost

Domino's screwed up my pizza last Friday. They put disgusting mushrooms on it when I removed them and replaced them with pepperoni. It took ages to pick that horrible 5 h1 toff and each slice looked limp and battered.

F0 CKyou Domino's, Pizza Hut at least do deep pan.

Oh yeah, the advert is rubbish too🤢

Those Amazon "How do you know that?!?!" ones.

That is a bad advert.

The nationwide one's are the worst. They fall way off the mark.

Old adds are the best.
