I don't see any reason to think Mendes will be any more involved than he was when Mourinho was in charge. No doubt he'll push players like he does to any club, if we get a good deal great. If we don't, we look elsewhere.

I don’t think Juve were just buying up all the Mendes clients. Being on good terms with Mendes isn’t bad if you can get the better signings on his books/have him broker deals for bigger name clients.
Not everyone are tin pot clubs like Wolves, Valencia and the big Portuguese teams, where he’s essentially dictating transfer policy.

Thank you.
People need to look up Fosun and Gestifute.
Nuno looks like my old man
The worrying part is that he was complety overlooked until Paratici came in. So what has Levy seen now that he couldn't before?
This really is scrapping the barrel. What is he - 9th choice manager? Even Potter was smart enough to avoid this toxic club. Levy completely ruined all that we gained during the Pochettino era. The club is in a depressing state. Does anyone really think we will amount to anything of note? The season is a complete write off already.

Bales, yeah I just find it hard to believe that Levy - who has a reputation as one of the most stubborn men in football - is going to allow Spurs to be used in the same way that those other clubs are by Mendes.
That’s not to say you won’t sign any of his clients - he’s involved with many top players around the world in some capacity.

It's not even a case of allowing it, Wolves' owners directly profit from signing Mendes players. We won't.

FFFFFF THAT!
Yes but I don’t think Peter Lim was. Point being his influence is restricted outside of Wolves, Valencia and the Portuguese clubs. And it’s because the top brass don’t allow him that same influence, I don’t see that being any different with Levy.
I’d be more worried about all the shiiiiiiit decisions Levy has made recently, and Paratici at Juve, than Spurs ‘getting into bed’ with Mendes.

Awful eh, having the option to use the biggest agent in the game to lure players
WTF!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Lol...we would rather have Hitchen and co..sign Nkoudou and Njie, oh and Fazio, Clarke,
Odd attitudes...like we would say no to Neves, Neto, Jimenez, Jota and Traore. Terrible terrible signings for a newly promoted team.
So many Doom mongers. If any of our players have some of the attitudes of some of these fans then they should be left to rot in the reserves.
Imagine a player saying they are underwhelmed by Nuno that they were hoping for Conte.
Time for positivity for me. Now let's see what Paratici can do on the transfer market. 1st job: sell the deadwood

Dismal appointment. 11 weeks phannying around and this is the best they could come up with. Could’ve appointed him six weeks ago if we really wanted him, quite obvious it’s a compromise appointment because he’s a free agent and because Mendes is his agent.
I will support him and obviously I hope he does the business, but to say it’s underwhelming is an understatement.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This.
Still, he’s here now so we have to wish him well and hope for he best.
What players do you think he’ll want to buy?

I doubt he'll be picking names. He's not really had much of a say, has he? From what I've read about Nuno he's all about having players perform certain roles. And we're pretty well set up to replicate his 343 already.
Maybe a pacy, powerful wide player and a decent CB?

You only have to spend 5 minutes on a Wolves forum to see how well loved he was. He's a good coach and by all accounts a great guy who was liked by both the fans and players. Yeah his style might be pragmatic but he got them to two seventh place finishes and Europa League QF. That's well above what they had any right to be doing.
I get people saying what they're concerned about, but comparisons to Jose are well out of line. He'll get us fit and organised and with a proper identity on the pitch. And he won't throw a chit fit of it goes wrong.
