Heard good things about taskmaster, Jay, but never watched it - will have to give it a go
I miss Sean Locke and Jon Richardson for 8oo10c though

I've always liked Sean Locke and Jon Richardson on shows like that. I also find Lee Mack quite funny in Not Going Out and other shows like that.
But comedians like them don't really cut it for me as a stand-up comedian, can't really put my finger on why. I've just never found them as funny when they've been on stage performing at the Apollo for instance for whatever reason.

They're not really good performers, and the same goes for a lot of comedians. They work so much more effectively when they've got other people to play off in a setting where having a quick mind is what matters. When it's just them, it often sheite.

I used to love mock the week, but stuck it on Netflix a few weeks ago and agree it’s shambolic.

He's not in the least funny, just rehashes old jokes in his greasy, horrible style.
I live just 11Km from where they film Love Island. Never wanted to tune in.
Caught five mins of it last night whilst channel-hopping. What can one say? Perhaps only hope that they all get Covid.
And UK TV sucks. There is absolutely nothing to watch now that football and tennis has finished.
